I'm ok with it appearing more transparent, as long as it's screened on there, otherwise how is it different than a normal translite?
My LTBR is mirror screened also.

Obviously youd want a real mirrored backglass but if they can pull off the same look with a translite it may be a good thing if it ever breaks, just change the glass and add some adhesive if it works. It may be a mess you couldnt fix though.
