Could just be the settings that the games I've played have configured, though...maybe they can be brighter?
For the rooms I play in, the ColorDMD looks great (from the players perspective). The only time I notice lack of brightness is when I'm standing to the side watching someone else play.
On the positive side, the ColorDMD seems to have much less glare.
