My 11yr old son has been bugging me to work on his machine, since parts are on order now is a good time. He will be clearcoating the playfield, adding leds and maybe working on the sound.

Today he tore down the machine and got it ready for clearcoat. He will be clearcoating this week after his homework is done..... ( he will be reading and posting from my account to this thread ).

Jon: We started to take the plastics off, and i saw the spinner was sun faded so we have to make a sticker. we had to take off all the wires and circuit boards. we went outside and took off the wax and sprayed are first layer of clearcoat! i,ll post more pics later in the week.

    Quoted from toyotaboy:

I don't have kids of my own, but I try to get my godchildren interested. Feel like there's more I could do to get the next generation interested in this hobby?

Ive noticed most people who try pinball doesn't know there is actually something to do other than just hit the ball. Ive got numerous hooked by making them play and just teaching some basic stuff.

Can he beat his Dad at pinball yet? My son does. He's 10.
