Shadow, The
Bally, 1994So apparently my shadow is a reimport. I checked the tag to verify that it is in fact a 50hz machine. It also had rom version LF-4. I burned version LX-6 and installed it and I changed the dip switches on the CPU board to US. So everything is in English but the volume screen is in French. Anyone know how I can change this?
Thats a bug in the code.
You might try the LA6 ROM off IPDB, which is English *only*, or LX5, which says 'No French Text'
Try them, and post back.. otherwise, I may have to test it out myself 
Sooo something is messed up. The rom on IPDB labeled " Game ROM LA6 - North American version. USA/Canadian coin settings." actually boots up as LF-6 and the volume display is still in french. I'm going to try h6 rom next. I hope this works. John do you have a link to a file that doesn't have that error?
Ok tested the rom versions in visual pinball. It looks like LX-6 is the one to use. H6 definitely still does

that's what mine does too - makes it feel more international (mine's a re-import too)
