Looks good! We had a SBM in college. Like a fool I gave it away when I started working, but I traveled for the first two years of my job and didn't always have an apartment. Love the artwork on that game.

That cabinet has turned out really good! Although the cabinet artwork on SBM looks simple in just the three shades, there is actually a lot of detail in it.

Who is the midget standing behind the pin in the top picture?

    #4 12 years ago

Yeah it looks pretty simple. He is hand painting it though so it's really a lot of work. Lol I didn't notice the midget. Just some slippers.

You did this yourself? Looks great, I'm going to attempt to repaint my own soon.

good work. Simple design. Should look like new.

My brother is doing it for me. He's pretty good at stuff like that.

Awesome. I wish they would make a stencil kit for my Flash Gordon!

    #11 12 years ago

no stencil. He is freehanding it Didn't want to pay for a stencil.

    #12 12 years ago

Yup, looks great! I miss the days of good, quality stenciled cab art!

I misread the title and thought painting a spider man black? That's more like Silver Surfer

My first thought when seeing the title was, "Why would you repaint a Spider Man Black?"

Nice looking cabinet. Hat's off to your brother.

I put a decal in for the playfield. Don't have 650 to spend on a new one. Would be nice though

Nice job. I just painted a high speed cabinet. I am going to clear coat the playfield this weekend. Going to use auto DuPont chromo clear.

Good choice tatman, I used Dupont on my H.S. playfield and I'm very happy with the results. Did you glue down those Radar Detector inserts?

Sorry for the hijack dlbuller, nice job on the SBM!
