Quoted from Mato:awesome review, love to be apart of something like this
It really is an experience. I worked with one of the founders of CAX when I lived in the Silicon Valley about 8 years ago. He personally owned well over 150 arcade games and pinballs. He owned 3 Hercules too! Not because he liked the game but he didn't want them to become firewood. He brought in games for the break area too which was really cool. T2, The Getaway, Bride of Pinbot and many more.
The CAX's I attended was when they were in downtown San Jose and it was a great time. Really felt like the arcades of old. It was a great place to see really rare and prototype machines. Love being able to say that I got to play both an original BBB and Kingpin. Weird titles too like the Bradley Trainer made specially for the military to train Bradley tank drivers (http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=12915). It isn't often you get to see every Laser Disc game ever made all in a row. This years NW Pinball show was pretty good too and is beginning to reach CAX numbers in terms of the amount of games available to play.
So plan a big trip to the states some year and check it out!
