Is it possible to install the side mirror art work without taking out the playfield? Where did you get your coin door sticker from kevin? I would like to buy one.

Yes, you can install the treasure cove side decals without lifting out the playfield. You have to remove the inside playfield support Allen head bolt, but it's easy. Coin door sticker is from

Looks beautiful Kevin! It is the perfect combination of orange and black accents. You do awesome work!
Quoted from cleland:Thanks, powder coated "Bengal Orange" by a great local company Andrews Powder Coating in Chatsworth So Cal.
I did do this by design. Sometimes when you powder coat a machine it becomes too much and there is no contrast to make the color pop, orange in this case. By keeping the coin door, bolts, and leg levelers in black, it makes the orange pop even more without beating you over the head with it.
Just my thoughts, thanks for the positive comments so far.
Kevin
That's exactly how I do it.
BEAUTIFUL!- incredible work. Good luck with the remainder! I'm scared s**t to go that far on a tear down!
I'm sure someday with the right machine I'll give it a shot though.
That is so awesome.
I don't know if I'm happier for you and the results of your work, or that game got such an awesome make over.
Thank you for sharing !
LTG : )
Awesome work. That machine brings tears to my eyes. Orange is a fantastic color for it. I used a very similar orange on my Congo and I love it.
Thanks for the nice comments guys. I know the orange is not for everyone, but I really think it works with this theme and could not be happier with how it turned out.
Quoted from Hatska1:what a stunner!! Great job.
Are your orange pieces sprayed or powder coated?
All pieces were powder coated orange by a local company. I even did the supports and apron
Quoted from LEE400:That is an amazing job, looks great! Top notch!!

Good of you to bump an old IJ resto thread ... Now I feel compelled to tear mine down and have the pf cleared.
Seriously, nice resto. So glad I didn't sell my IJ off last month.
I know, looks great, inspiring me as well. A bit too much for me to be able to do, but it looks great! Maybe someday I will have that ability.

Kevin is THE MAN. He has worked on many of my games. From full shop outs to cabinet restoration...he can do it all. His work is top notch. Great guy and I'm super fortunate to know him. He has taken good care of my games for a few years now. Go Rams bump!
Haha, when I saw this come up on page one I had to tear up. Sadly, I sold this game awhile back....but if I ever get another Indy I would do the same treatment. This game came out sweet! What a ton of work though...

What's the specific name of the orange you used? I'm going to strip my machine down and redo the cabinet next year and would looooooooooooove to do this!

Very nice pin indeed, still looks the same! If you are interested, I would sell it back to you.

It was called "Bengal Orange"

And here's the happy new owner! I might have to PM you, glad you still have it
Quoted from pingod:How much does a pumpkin Halloween edition IJ go for
Looks really nice.
I don't even remember the selling price, but I surely didn't make anything off it since I spent like 80-100 hours fixing it up, plus all new parts.
