Here is my problem. When I'm playing a game of my Dr. Dude it adds a player right in the middle of my game. If I wait it will add all 4 players. I checked the start button and it's working fine. No problems in the switch test either. I'm on free play. Are my game roms messed up? If i'm not playing it doesn't start a game by itself but when I'm playing it adds another player and another until all 4 are in. Maybe the ball is hitting a switch in the play field that effects the start button too? maybe a switch in the same row or colume? Any thoughts? Never had this kind of issue.

Thanks for the help guys. It was just as you described. I had a switch with a messed up diode. I tweaked it with my fingers and it's working good now. Now that the switch is working I'm not having any issue with adding players. I think I'm going to replace the diode tomorrow it's all messed up.
