    *** SPOILER alert ***

Took a little poke at all the Pinside price and investment drama this morning and missed the target. Sorry to all those who didn't watch the Family Guy episode last night.

Warning - if you go any deeper in this thread you will learn what happened and suffer a little Pinside drama.

Dang it man, spoiler alert! LOL. I didn't watch that episode yet.

    #3 10 years ago

    Yah, no shit. Not cool.

    #4 10 years ago

    Yeah, thanks for that spoiler.........

    #5 10 years ago

Family Guy will never be the same w/o Brian.

    #6 10 years ago

if this is true can someone upload a jump the shark picture for me? i can't right now.

    #7 10 years ago

That's a better attempt at a spoiler alert, but the warning at the end of the subject line is not visible from the main page. Something in the first line of the OP would be nice, too.

    #8 10 years ago

They can't kill Brian off, he's the glue that keeps that show together.

    #9 10 years ago

Same thing can be said for CSI. The two main characters in front on the backglass are both off the show

    Quoted from RustyLizard:

I didn't realize that people who cared wouldn't know by now.

Yeah, I know. Stinkin' DVRs, what can you do?

YES. PLEASE put the ***SPOILER*** at the front of the thread title.

    Here's my Take...
I'm guessing a 'Christmas Miracle' episode...and Brian will be back.

There's just no reason to kill him off...

    #19 10 years ago

    #20 10 years ago

    This post should be retitled:

How to be the most hated person on Pinside!

Too funny. Sorry it happened Rusty - You're still good people!

    #28 10 years ago

I guess the manatees finally moved the "kill Brian" ball from one side of the pool to the other.

    #29 10 years ago

I bet next week he is back on the show like nothing happened lol

oh well, my FG still makes me lots of money on location so no worries!

Nope, Vinnie's on next week. Brian is dead!

Agreed. American Dad is about 10 times more appealing than Family Guy. I think the secret is having Patrick Stewart on your show. Patrick Stewart + Show = Profit.

    #32 10 years ago

I read there's a few episodes that haven't aired that Brian is in. One of which he's a distance runner. Guess we will have to see if the rumors are true on that.

Patrick Stewart is on FG occasionally as a narration gag or the inner-voice of baby Susie Swanson.

You guys forget that they like to use flashbacks. I see Brian flashbacks in the future!

Sorry, just never could get into the show

    #37 10 years ago

The question is, why did Brian get killed off?

    #38 10 years ago
    Quoted from Propaganda:

Cuz he got hit by a car.

    #39 10 years ago

I think it sucked how they did it. Where was death in this scene. Could have had some fun with that. Instead of getting over to the pound and grabbing another dog. I think killing meg would have been better for the show. I think Brian was one of the best characters they had.

    #40 10 years ago

I would not be surprised to see Brian back somehow. I'm not sure what they are cooking up, I mean Seth loved to use Brian for his Sinatra signing skits.

The show is a hit. Why would they change it? Seems like a huge risk to kill off a main character. It's like killing off Cosmo Kramer or George Costanza on Seinfeld. This makes me consider why they might be willing to ignore the potential loss of viewers who love the Brian character. Possibly the show will be ending soon so they do not care? Otherwise, it's for extra attention as viewership might be going down or ? Just guesses.

Could have been worse. At least they didn't turn him into a pedophile before they killed him off.

This is flawed with eps involving the future of How things are

When Stewie meets his older self Brian died much later in time not while Stewie was a baby

    President Doucebag ...

Won't take much for Stewie to cough take samples of Brian's DNA from his casket and clone him
    Stewie has made clones before

I'm upset yes dearly BUT I'm sure it was decided and that it is what it is

It's like the back to the future 3 FLAW

    yeah you read it

    Go ahead ask me....

Fine ill tell you Marty goes to 1885 to get doc to come back to 1985

So when he gets there he tears the gasoline

    Oh my !!!

    WAIT !!

Why not use the time machine that is already in 1885 in the mine for Marty to find in 1955

YEAH BABY 2 deloreans are indeed in 1885 at the same time !!

I know it's movie but still use your heads lol

    #47 10 years ago

I still say there's a Christmas tie in...he'll be back. The wife was actually upset that he 'died'. He's her favorite character in all of tv

Desperation. Viewership is down 250% since TWD is on AMC at the same time.

It's a VERY VINNY Christmas on December 15th! Tune in!

    #50 10 years ago

I thought it was really funny that he got hit by a car. I loved Brian though, will miss him. The new dog Vinny is voiced by Paulie Walnuts from Sopranos.
