Just came back from ocean city,nj and stopped in Jillys. They had a brand new Ghostbusters added to the lineup. 25 cent play like all of their games.

Just a heads up that they moved this machine closer to the boardwalk side of the arcade. It is not in the rows of pinball machines. It is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.

    Quoted from thefoxxman:

To put another spin on this, on one hand it's depressing seeing the machines in this condition..dirty, worn.... but there is a reason these machines are in this condition, and that's because people ARE playing them! THAT is a good thing! Sometimes wear on the playfield is a sign of a GREAT game that people have loved to play!
These machines are doing the EXACT job that they were designed to do - be played out in the wild!
But of course, if people have a bad experience with a non working machine, it may turn them off from playing again - so that is the flip side. If the machine works and is just dirty, well not quite so bad!

I hear ya, but I've been to the OCNJ boardwalk and seen the pins, they are pretty much unplayable in that state...It's a shame that the operators don't have someone to shop on site, because they would get a lot more play.

The pins at RailRoad in Limerick are in great shape, and they get a ton of play; that's the way to run a pin establishment.

Yeah, it's rough seeing their collection in that condition. Me and some of the other SJ pinball players have offered to help clean their machines for free and were turned down.

Next time you are down this way, come check out Level Up Entertainment in the Hamilton Mall, 4403 E Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. We are 20 minutes west from the shore, but we are right off the AC expressaway exit 12. We have a Star Wars Pro, Deadpool Pro, and Super Mario Bros. Not sure how long your in the area for your vacation, but we are having our Deadpool launch tournament this Saturday!

Another good place to play is stArCade in the Showboat in AC. They offer an all-day pass for $15 and have a great collection of pins in awesome shape.

I found that they shop those pins in the off season, so best bet go down in winter time. I used to get to that area doing service calls & they were in nice shape. Remember they're open 365/yr.

In the boardwalk mall there was a really nice Pinbot and a High Speed. Check them out.

That was 1987, but worth a shot, Ted.

    I'll look for it! Thanks!

And now you understand why I don't even go to the Jersey shore.
That, and it's full of people from Jersey. If I want to be wall-to-wall with a bunch of goombahs from the 'hood blasting Bon Jovi in their black Camaros, I'll just stay home.

Not sure if you were being serious or sarcastic. While I am sure that there are places on the Jersey Shore that may match your description, I have not had that experience. Have been vacationing in Ocean City since I was 5. Blue codes are still in effect thank God and I think this goes a long way to keeping the riff raff away. Great family resort. Had th chance to take the kids a few years ago to Atlantis and then the following year went to OCNJ. OC was far better. Love the Jersey Shore!!

He was being somewhat sarcastic, although some truth. Ocean City is still clean & dry. Not anything negative but lots of Canadians at the shore too. But hey, it is a vacation destination.
