Great choice. Don’t be afraid of your pinball, they were meant to withstand treatment in a commercial environment. Get the play field lifted up and secure at least once. Get familiar with the test menu and run some basic switch tests when the game is in normal position. For fun maybe take the back glass off and look at boards so you are more familiar with the game.
Ball smacks the glass a few times when you play, don’t worry about it. It happens.
Also as above make sure your game is perfectly level left and right and you have the proper pitch. Very important.
