Really crazy that it happened during (or before) shipping. Not sure how there would be room, but I'm definitely not calling you a liar either. Crazy things.
That said, just pull it out and set it back on top. Really no big deal. Hopefully that clear plastic was the only casualty, and hopefully Stern will be willing to replace it. If the side art blades managed to not get damaged already, be careful setting the pf back in to avoid damaging them now. I highly recommend the blade protectors that Pinball Life sells to anyone with blades. It is so easy to snag them even when being ultra-careful.
A few years back I dropped my Batman 66 playfield in which smashed the cabinet woofer pretty bad. Totally my own fault. Pulled it too far forward and it hopped right over the "stop". Stern should really redesign them to be a bit more idiot proof for idiots like me.
