I posted this as a reply in another thread but wanted to post a new thread as well. This is my personal experience.

I only get on Pinside once every month or two, I keep saying I will get on it more, but with 4 kids, I am always busy. However, I will say that its time for me to talk about my MM LE experience... I have LE #642 of 1000. I'm not sure how to sign up for the MMR club that I read about. . . but here's my experience on everything:

My dealing with Rick have been nothing but positive ... I am a home collector, not a business, and thus at a disadvantage as I don't travel to shows around the country... I still was able to talk to Rick several times at the beginning. While things started roughly for the MMR project, Rick hired Jim to help with the MMR project. Through all of the delays and everything that happened Jim has returned EVERY phone call and email that I sent.

When it was time for my game to ship and there was a question Doug Score from the factory in Chicago called me personally and then the game shipped and its here.

There were some frustrating moments in the MORE THAN two years it took to get my machine. I heard about many people cancelling their orders. I remained positive and worked with these guys and was very happy in the end.

No one in this world is perfect ... so the real way to judge people is by HOW they deal with issues when they arise... Rick realized he needed help and he hired Jim ... I for one am happy in the end (even though there were truly some frustrating times in the middle).

Great story, and I'm glad you're happy with your machine. But I've gotta ask: WHAT is up with the bottom of a brand NIB game being do dirty from handling? That thing looks like it's been routed for years already.

    Patina

    Makes it look more authentic!

It looks to be mostly paint, although I do see a few fingerprints. I am just glad to see unboxing photos, as this is the proper topic for this thread. Congrats and enjoy, and thanks for actually posting pictures in this thread!!

I'm always glad to hear about some one getting their MMR LE and being happy with it. I paid in full for mine almost a year ago now, and am becoming very frustrated with the much longer than expected delays and multiple overly optimistic (i.e. BS) production estimates. The OP has waited longer than I have. I give him kudos for that as frankly there have been times when I regretted this purchase and considered canceling. There will be light at the end of the tunnel but the tunnel has proven to be much longer and darker (in terms of being given accurate information) than any of us had anticipated.

I'm still happy with it (despite the dirty bottom)... Lol... Patience does pay

Only thing missing is some gum stuck to the bottom!
