Congrats! It's nice when your kids are interested in your hobbies.

My son was 18 months old when he first started playing on his own. Here he is at two, playing better than my wife.

Now at three, he only wants to play DI. His tastes are much more sophisticated.

My son plays pretty much every day but he only bats the ball around, he doesn't understand rules or strategy. At least he knows not to double flip. We also play together a lot and it's good hand/eye coordination training for him.
