OUCH! This is a game that I want to find and restore. Think I'd love the play. Even considered a CPR PF if I ever find a candidate machine, but wowsers that would make one pause.
damn, warped PF, how's your inserts? any of them raised? i got one a little higher on my cpr. i'll probably re-cleared the pf anyway.

Not a problem.
It will straighten out once you install the rails.
Quoted from futurepinhead:My slingshot plastics are a lighter blue...anyone else run into this?
Mine were lighter blue as well. Not sure why CPR did this, but then again I don't care because I don't care about original (and I intend to keep mine)
Been awhile since updates. Here is some pictures of the underside of the playfield stripping down. I am actually almost done putting it on the new one. All I have left is litterally the pop bumper switches. I am waiting for some fin shank screws from Pinball Life.
Sorry for the crappy image quality, cellphone must have been dirty. My workstation looks a little dull I know but I got a 2 car garage in a pollbarn that I use. Most of the time I am listening to Spooky's podcast. I live way out in the country and I don't have internet so I downloaded a lot of old shows that I listen to.
I've also got my dad into working on this. He doesn't much care for the playing or the collecting. He tries to constantly talk me into selling them for a profit.
I want to throw out a personal thanks to vid1900 for answering questions here and there to help move this along.
so this is how you clean the wire harness, the dog do all the work....
seriously, keep the pictures coming, i have one to swap this winter.
can't wait to see your final result.

I will hold onto all of my breakdown photos for you just incase you forget one or two angles. I will take some more photos of my current progress tonight. It is night and day from what I just uploaded. That was about 3 weeks ago.
Good to see so much progress. You sure do have a great (large) work area, I'll bet that really helps. Did that playfield ever flatten out? Must have cuz your puttin it together. I think the underside of pins are fasinating and I wish I had the time to fully understand them. I finally sent you a PM about the plastic part. Did you led it as long as it was apart?

I used to be an LED guy but something about incandescent bulbs does it for me.
My plastic appears to be broken as well. If it is less broken you are welcome to it.
