Met Premium Road Case delivered just a few minutes ago.

Not going to open it for a bit though. I need to repair and sell a couple games to make room.

Soon to be on the chopping block (after repairs):
Pinbot - with a random tilt issue. First on repair block. I started to look at this one last night. Research tells me to look for a broken or faulty switch diode. So while Sparky taunts me from inside a box I'll be listening for beeps on my meter.
LAH - DMD blank, rebuild HV section of PS board when parts arrive. Dang 1N5379B diode is hard to find, but now on its way.

Wow you must have a lot of will power because there is no way a new premium Metallica could be left unboxed in my house, I'd find the room somewhere. All kidding aside, congrats, hope you enjoy it soon.

Make things easy on yourself. Buy a colorDMD for Metallica. This is the best looking color DMD out. Then take the red DMD from Metallica that runs on 5v and put that into your LAH and avoid the ugly repair.

Yep. Color dmd rocks in metallica. Pulled mine out of LOTR and put it in my met. No regrets at all.

Pinbot is fixed... diode on one of the drop targets. Tested good in the game but I noticed a pattern with one of the switches and replaced the diode... I have played it straight for about an hour without a "random tilt" before the diode swap I could get it every ball if the one drop target was down.

Metallica goodies... shaker, newton ball, new shiny balls, snake tongue and fangs are piling up. It is going to be hard to not open it this weekend... we shall see.
