I just got a Bally 8 ball machine. I put it back together and as I plugged it in... BBZZZSSSHHHAAPPP!!!
Something cooked... I investigated and found what looks to be a repair(lug soldered to main board) had fried and was now loose. I saw that a green wire and a white wire were joined with a spade connector to them and they attached to the same wire that fried. So I connected the white wire and the green wire to same colored wires that run into the lower clip on my main board cause they were joined together as well. Plugged it back in. And voila!! Everything works except some of my general lighting along the outer side of the playing field,the ball ejector to plunger. And flippers don't work either... Just got it today... GRRRR...!
