Quoted from Flip-it-good:how does the match feature work at the end of the game? According to a stapled card in the back box the last digit in the score matching a lighted digit on the backboard will register a free game and activate the knocker coil. So far I haven't seen any lights go on in the backboard at the end of a game.
If the match lights don't come one at the end of the game, Inspect and diagnose this circuit with Alligator clip jumper wires. After that we can look into why it doesn't award a free game.
