D&D is one of those 6803 games with nothing but a single light bulb to illuminate the backglass... so I figured, why not use a color changing led bulb! I'm sure I'm not the first to do this but it's kinda cool. See link below for video... i sped up the cycling for time. For some reason the camera makes it look like there is a hot spot in the middle of the glass... but it doesn't look overly bright in person.
