Hey guys. Wanted to know what you think about how my CV looks after restoring it. Let me know what you think...IMG_8739.JPGIMG_8739.JPGIMG_8741.JPGIMG_8741.JPGIMG_8742.JPGIMG_8742.JPGIMG_8743.JPGIMG_8743.JPGIMG_8744.JPGIMG_8744.JPGIMG_8740.JPGIMG_8740.JPG

It must be beautiful in person. It have the guy sitting next to it a boner!

Ha ha, I kill me!

#3 9 years ago

wow nice!!! I will own one someday!

#4 9 years ago

Even the skeleton can't bear to look at it.

#5 9 years ago

You make me weep. Not really!!

#6 9 years ago

The restore looks nice although I am curious about the white powdercoating. The cabinet is decaled with black accents, so the white really contrasts that heavily.

#7 9 years ago

Not a huge fan of the white powder either. To each their own though!

#8 9 years ago

If you like it that is all that matters, but it would look better on Bug's Bunny's Birthday Ball.

#9 9 years ago

Looks nice except the powder coating. Not really sure how that ties in.

Amazingly, I didn't even notice it until I saw this post. White, huh?

#11 9 years ago

Well thanks guys. Went with the white for something a little different. Didn't really think to possibly paint the head white to maybe look more complete or even? I have two pins (CFTBL and AFM) done with the light or lime green and I have my TZ done in light blue. Idk... just decided to go white!

#12 9 years ago

Don't paint the head white. Please.

I didn't notice either. I thought it was simply a reflective finish until I saw that mentioned. Now that I see it, it doesn't seem to fit the color scheme.

Everything else looks nice, though

#14 9 years ago

Lit up eyes look awesome on the Ringmaster....Green DMD and some LED's would finish it out nicely.

#15 9 years ago

People that don't like the white really mean to say it looks like crap and i agree with them. The good news is that it can be redone which i highly recommend. I mean HIGHLY as in if i had money i could piss away id paypal you it just so you would change it to avoid getting your pinball ownership license revoked.

Man......that really makes me regret selling mine back on 2007.

Nice job on the restoration. All you need now is a set of backbox scrolls.

#17 9 years ago

do not like the white at all. Not outside or inside. Stands out way to much.

#18 9 years ago

Congrats Love my CV, one of my favorite games in the collection

I wonder of you could find purple powder coating, to match the scrolls. That would look great against that green cabinet.

How well does the powder coating hold up?

I call bullshit. Over the past 10 years, there have been like.....4 times you agreed with me.

No it doesn't. Someone else had that done and it looks like shit too.

Yeah, PLEASE don't paint the head itself white. Not a fan myself, but if you decide to keep the white trim, buy the scrolls, find a matching white paint and color-match the scrolls. This may help bring things together a bit more and you can easily remove or change the color if you change your mind.

No....seriously.....that white looks terrible.

#25 9 years ago

Looks great! I like the white, I just had all metal parts on the outside of my cftbl done in purple so wild colors are alright with me!

#26 9 years ago

Beautiful restoration, great looking machine.
In another thread someone powdered bi-color on the legs for a creech, green and purple, those would look great on CV. White is a somewhat out of tone.

Nope. When you are trying to get out of a hole, first thing is to stop digging.

#28 9 years ago

I like what you have done to it, looks nice. I also see a DJI quad copter in the third picture, do you use it much?

#29 9 years ago

Sorry. I don't like or understand the white on this pin. But if u like it, great.

#30 9 years ago

I like the white, particularly with the wireforms. If you are happy, then don't change a thing.
