My custom toppers tpro333

Hey guys, I'm new here. I wanted to try my hand at making custom toppers. I wasnt sure where to show them. Do I show them here? Im obviously open for private commissions so I wasnt sure if it had to be in the market place too in addition to here or just in the marketplace. If this is the wrong place, please let me know. Here are some pics of the first two toppers I've made. I dont have videos yet but the lights do have hundreds of settings and also interact with sound etc. Remote AND app controlled. Fire!! Some small tweaks (like hiding seams & possibly repositioning of some of the LEDS) all in all pretty dope!! Curious on weight & how they're fastened to the games? Great work looks like you're a fan of epoxy check out Evans for some ideas with smaller LEDS https://evandesigns.com

Thanks, You can customize the lights as they use two light bars. Lighting is so hard to photograph. They look WAY better in person than photos. These weigh close to 15 lbs each aprox.

They look great overall. Maybe offer a version without the game title on it since it is redundant.

Seems like Star Wars could use one, seeing how Stern continues to manufacture Star Wars pinball machines forever but somehow decided to only make 500 toppers. Due to this, I would think Star Wars would have the biggest demand for toppers, if someone (like yourself TPR0333) could really knock something out of the park and make it nice looking.

I do plan to make a star wars topper. Just trying to decide how I want to do it and what scene or scenes to include. I'm a massive star wars fan! Im also an official star wars artist having worked for topps and produced limited edition art prints for both lucasfilm as well as Disney. In fact George Lucas purchased a couple of my original paintings that I did for both Star Wars Celebration as well as base card art for topps trading cards. A star wars topper is definitely in the works.

Thank you so much!! I have a degree in illustration so I do traditional paintings etc. However, I started making smaller light up dioramas which I sell on my Etsy page. It was just recently that I started to make the toppers. I have a lot of fun working in this scale.

Your Jaws topper should sell well as the Stern version is crap. I'm sure you have your hands full, but a STNG topper would be awesome

Impressive work....lets just say they are not cheap....think higher end of Stern toppers...if they were cut in half he would sell a boat load (although probably not his goal)....tough sell in a down market

Agreed. These are really nice looking but spending $2k on non game interactive toppers is way outside the average persons budget. Good luck, they are really nice looking though!

They look great, but would look even better without the title on the top. When I see them on a game, my eyes see:

We know what game they are on and the game title is displayed 7" underneath the topper too.

Hey guys, I just wanted to clarify something. I dont list prices on them because it usually sparks a debate as to whether its too high or not. I can tell you that they are less than $2,000 actually. I am only making 5 of them. If you count the one thats pending, there is only one left. I spend countless hours making all of the parts and hand painting it all. Not to mention all of the resin work. I do understand that they may not be for everyone and thats totally fine. Some have no problem with the pricing and others do... and thats totally fine. I dont take offense at it in any way at all. I will say that there are details in the piece that you cant even see in the pic. For example, the inside of the boat has details such as the cabinets, bench, table and even coasters on the table. Although you dont really see it, I like to put as much detail in my art as I can. I also know that having the logo is not for everyone either which is why i do offer it without the logo. I also accept commissions that fit a lot of different budgets. The toppers are something new that I've started making and I will say this.... I love the feedback ... good OR bad because it helps me better understand what people are looking for. Also I want to thank everyone for the kind words. Not only in the thread but in the private messages too.
