I want to find the stock agency that keeps photos of this kind. They're ideal for scams, no? I mean, how often have you seen forty machines, each folded and stood on end, lined up neatly in a warehouse? The additional photos of the impeccably wrapped games are clever, too, as any American buyer would want assurances of better packing when buying from a collector in far-away Italy. Among the numerous holes in this charade is the matter of *zero* forum activity here on Pinside. Sure, plenty of collectors don't bother to participate on Pinside at all, but a collection of this size would be hard to amass if insulated from collectors in the U.S. Given the present calamity in Italy, the pressure to hatch a scam would be stronger than ever, although the odds that this poster is actually in Italy are remote. If this poster is legit', I apologize.

I think this guy is legit. I'm pretty sure I recognize the name. If I'm right, he used to ship lots of containers of pinball machines from Europe to the USA in the late 1990s - early 2000s.

I don't think he's asking $1,000 for the whole collection obviously.

Do your due diligence ... I could be completely wrong ... but this guy might be legit if my memory isn't failing (yet) .

Don't make much of the "private collection" description, ha ha.

I previously posted about some of the machines I've got from them below. The BSD was a "private collection" one.

That’s the correct email for him right?, not 1 letter changed or something funny? It is def amusing how scammy it looks if you don’t know him / haven’t imported before.

Of course not that many of his selectionS are private collection and those ones are usually a bit spendier but importing has been good for Seattle buyers so far it seems. Always a bit of a crap shoot

It's the correct domain, and Maurizio is one of the partners. I think the only misleading thing is suggesting these are private collection. These machines are scrounged from all corners of Europe and the conditions vary greatly. Some are termed "private collection" if they look decent on a relative scale.

Ditto! , I wasn't expecting the 1000 a pin like the ad says, but 5500 for a reimport TAF before fees and shipping, plus a 4 month wait?

The guy might be legit but those pics I know I have seen them before and that was a long time ago.He might be using the same pics to just give you an idea of what your buying(bulk)
