Are you going to give a total $$ of what you did? I'm interested in hearing what "budget" means. I did my basement. I put crown molding, dropped a few inches. I used it to run speaker cables, and put dimming rope lights. I was amazed at how expensive just that crown molding was.

Haymaker, I have to respect your priorities: why put sheetrock and paint when you can use that money toward another pin?

BTW, the only reason I was able to build out my basement was it was a game room masquerading as a theater room.
