Nice to see those machines out of my cold storage unit and into the hands of someone that will put some love into them...and Dad is a fantastic resource of knowledge!

Special shoutout to Mark Salas who offered up some parts that were missing from the Hot Hand. That one will present some challenges. He'll learn quickly the difference between EM and SS.

When I started I lucked out on a nearly working SS (Skateball), but did the most "oh that's how it works" learning on my first EM, a 1975 Chicago Coin Super Star.

Now Matt has his own Super Star to learn on...funny how that worked out. Enjoy! Post progress pics

Will you do a remote battery on that? I can't believe the CPU booted up what luck!!

Off topic Dan and I got that Laser Cue running the other night...that thing had been sitting for so long. So everything worked great until smoke started pouring out of the brand new left flipper coil. I had crossed a wire when I soldered the new one on. **Facepalm**

Hey...we're always learning I guess haha. New coil is on the way as well as cab switches which I found were pretty torn up.

Gotta be nice for Matt to have a snowday today. I'm sure he was excited to get back into the shop and working. He'll catch "the disease" soon

Yeah the multiple projects is my fault. Dan and I work as a team and he's much better on the electronics and mechanics. I'm OK and getting better but every now and then I'll (ahem) burn up a coil or something. I'm better with cosmetics and like the machine to look as good as possible. We make a good team but his time is limited, so I'll pull other projects to start working on while he finishes up.

I think Matt will become master of both. He'll be a good addition to our hobby!
