has anyone compared the different install types: home, novelty and Directors Cut? What's the difference between them? Which is recommended for best play?

So I installed the new Mustang Pro code (1.45?) last night. I was disappointed to see that the ball under ramp issue is still with us. My very first game while in stunt driver mode I ended up with Gear Shift multiball and 3 balls under the ramp because the post either didn't pop up or the ramp didn't lift. Is this ever going to be fixed?
Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for the new code. I'm just frustrated that the ball keeps getting stuck.
I finally figured out why my Mustang Pro kept getting balls stuck under the ramp. It wasn't a code issue, it was a hardware issue. My left orbit rollover switch was intermittently working and the machine couldn't tell where the ball was. It finally failed. I replaced the switch and voila. The diverter code added in code version 1.3 finally got to show it's stuff.
Quoted from Moli410:I still love my Mustang pro especially with all the added mods I put on it, game plays great. But I also have the problem of the ball often getting stuck under the ramp.
Is there a fix for it?
My Pro had balls getting stuck under the ramp frequently. Thought it was the code, but after a bunch of testing and a lot of help from Pat Powers at Stern, we figured out my left orbit rollover switch wasn't working properly. The Pin lost track of the ball and didn't know it should lift the ramp. Swapped out the switch and most of my stuck balls went away. Made a big difference in game play. It still happens, those are probably code bugs, but not nearly as much now that the diverter code changes in 1.3 actually work.
Finally made it to Silver Ball Stampede! Totally worth the effort. I drained almost immediately and the score isn’t even on the board, but I finally made it.
Quoted from MJW:What kind of issues did you have?
There was an issue with vertical stripes on my screen after the install. Emailed Randy and he got my problem resolved quickly.

Quoted from foxtj24:My buddy not on pinside just got a mustang pro. He is looking for any of the custom code with new songs. Can anyone help?
Thanks
He can customize the music on his Pro using Pinbrowser. See this thread:

Quoted from Magadovski:Hi 2 questions,
Anyone mounted support rails for playfield?
Are there room to do that? Pics?
Is it worth buying shakermotor for this game? Does the code use it well?
Yes, first thing I did was install these playfield supports and get rid of those cheap pegs. I installed a shaker motor and color dmd too and have never regretted either one.

IMG_1013 (resized).jpegQuoted from Lermods:As I dig into this game more, I came across an issue where the letter N will not light on the backboard when the others are lit, but when I test it in lamp test it works. When they all flash in attract mode it also works. Anyone come across this? I swapped out the bulb and the diode, no change.

When I first got my Pro the G on the backboard flickered a lot, mostly when it wasn’t supposed to be lit. It was my first machine so I had no idea what to do to fix the light. Finally I finally saw that the diode was squished like it had hit something in the back of the machine or something had slammed into the diode as it wasn’t nicely bridged like the other Mustang lights. I carefully straightened and lifted the diode out so the leg wasn’t touching the socket and that fixed the problem. Try taking a look at the playfield backboard and see if the N looks different from the rest.
