I got the LE earlier this year and it's a great addition to my collection. I understand why most hardcore pinheads don't like the "realistic" theme because it's not fantasy or sci fi. I love anything automotive and the gameplay is fast and fun. It gets the most gameplay from friends when they visit, it's an easy game to jump into and it pops visually. The latest update added some nice rules and made the bowl interactive and part of the car upgrade process in the game. I added the Sparky Pinball screen which came with the famous chase scene from Bullitt. I replaced all the lame car toys with some of my own choosing. I'll post some photos soon.

Actually that's a drag car. Old Mustangs weren't known for their turning ability. Now the new GT350 Ford is about to release, we'll see...

The mounting holes line up for a Maistro. Not sure about others. I'm sure there's s way to mount anything if you're handy.

Its also open on the skill shot. Hold left flipper on plunge, then hit the Mustang store for 2,000,000! This is true on the LE. Not sure about Pro.

Does anyone know if the letters on the LE turntable are "clocked" to point to the little red arrow in front at certain times? I took it apart when I put a different car on and never bothered to check. A friend came over and asked me if the MUSTANG letters were supposed to match up.

Quoted from Darcy:

On page B12 of the Mustang manual. Shows that the "Turn Table Encoder Biscuit", must have the larger cut out facing the Letter 'A'. If it is installed wrong the lighting below the Turn Table will not line up with the letter that is rewarded at the Store-Tool Box.

Thanks!

Quoted from BlueIrocGuy:

Hey Guys, joined the club a couple of weeks ago with an LE model and we're having a good time with it. Unfortunately, an issue has popped up with it today. The turntable has stopped spinning when the play field is in place, but the motor still runs. When the playfield is upright and I run the diagnostic test, the table will turn again and find the correct index, but it's a no-go when playfield is back horizontal. I've checked all the couplings and attachments and every things tight without any noticeable binding when I spin the mech by hand. It appears that there is slippage in the turntable motor gear box that is causing the issue. Just checking to see if any other owners have had a similar issue with their turntable? Anyways, Mustang has been fun for the 74 plays we've gotten out of it so far!

The four legs of the turntable are slotted so I think you can loosen those nuts and push it towards the drive wheel. Use the diagnostic menu to test it, it doesn't always turn in the game.

Quoted from MJW:

I tend to over mod my games and add toys.i was was once told my ac/dc looked like an episode of hoarders. Lol I'm not digging your selection but it's your game, have fun with it. I'm sure the same could be said about my games by other people.

I love a good set of spinners on my Mustang

Does anyone have 1.45 code with custom music they'd be willing to share?

Quoted from Mitch:

Ya the Mustang multi ball. is there any way to turn the carry over off? sucks when people over playing a multi person game and player one starts with it lit.

Try tournament mode

Quoted from Tuna_Delight:

Just got home and checked the features adjustments; I don't see a carryover shutoff for Mustang multiball either.

Another thing to try: Std Adjustment 57: Player Competition: On

Then hold left flipper during attract mode with credit or free play to start competition mode. Manual doesn't specify what it does other than "unrandomizes feature events and standardizes game play and rule sets"

I also love my LE. My son and I play it almost every day, can't say the same for any of my other games. It's well balanced with fun shots.

Quoted from MustangPaul:

^^^ what he said but forget the blade skins (lame in my book) and get mirrors. And to really dress it up get the colored apron and put a bunch of 12v led strips under it attached to the flashers. WOW!!! My "whole" apron lights up red, not just in a couple of spots.

The real question is why would a Ford dealership sell it? If I owned a dealership I'd want all three versions in my showroom!

It's a sad day

Quoted from Darcy:

The first run of Mach E's have sold out.

So silly. I'll never understand why someone buys the first production run of a new model. Guaranteed problems.

Thanks to Sonic at M&M Creations for helping create this magnetic sensor to replace the mechanical bowl switch.
