I think I’d rather have standard stock switch As the ball revolutions slow game play enough!

The ColorDMD for Mustang is really well done. You won't be disappointed.

I've still never seen it. The day the code for it was released, I bought the ColorDMD for Mustang. But then I loaned out my Mustang to a friend before I got it installed. So I ended up putting that one into Iron Man... but then proceeded to loan out Iron Man for the winter. So at some point I'll get back both games and put everything where it should be. That just means I need a bigger house to keep all my games in one place

I sold about 5 games in the last 6 months. 3 game at 3 different friends house. I think they were disappointed in me for taking them. But even more for not replacing with another. Now that's "free play".

Installed all 4 this week. TWD,Met,Mustang and GoT. 3D printed box to block light and dust. Just noticed flash. My bad
Mustang was the hardest one to install only because I had to burn extra holes in Acrylic for the #0094 plate screws and remove the Mustang emblem and cut bolt so it wouldn't hit LCD screen. Only had time for a game or two. Did $#%÷ I was to busy looking at the color screen. I saw some animation I never noticed before. WoW 5 stars out of 5.

He can customize the music on his Pro using Pinbrowser. See this thread:

he is not very computer literate. I was hoping someone still had a copy of custom code somewhere. All the links in this thread are dead.

Hey, new to the club and absolutely loving this pin. Not a total fan of the theme, but I'm a car guy and the gameplay is fast and it shoots really well.

With that said I've had a really bizarre situation pop up recently. No issues running 1.30, but after updating to 1.45 I seem to have a regular issue that happens only at a certain time. My right scoop (Mustang Store) will stop kicking out and blow fuse F8. What's strange is it seems to only happen at Gear Shift mulitball. If I abort with a double flipper push it kicks the ball out. During all other gameplay it's fine and scoop works as intended.

I thought it was a code issue, so I installed 1.45 Premium code, same issue. Reinstalled LE 1.45 and it happens again. For now I abort Gear shift multiball, but really annoying, especially since this seems like a code issue. I guess it could be a board or device that gets fired up during the start of Gear Shift, no clue at this point.

Just wondering if anyone had something similar or best way to test. Thanks!

Welcome, wish I could help but my game plays perfect.

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Welcome, wish I could help but my game plays perfect.

Thanks.

So, after more gameplay. My F8 has blown with ball draining and still having ball save active, so quite possibly this is somehow trough related. It happened when my ball was in scoop and multiball was activating. If it hits scoop with no multi cued up, it spits the ball out fine.

Since this pin is somewhat new to me, at least 1.45 code anyway, I noticed my start button isn't illuminated ever and lockdown bar button only flashed white during attract mode and only for a bit, otherwise it stays unlit. So attract mode my lockdown button is white maybe 15% of the time, otherwise it's dark like my Start button. Any chance this is related or are these buttons not normally illuminated. I know they were more active running 1.30.

I also found a post with d0n having a similar issue on a Pro, but it wasn't intermittent like mine. He would blow F8, but it ended up being associated with an auxiliary driver board that might be unique to the pro. I could not find the same boards on my LE? Any ideas......

Edited to add this photo. Is this normal? What does it indicate, if anything? Yellow light on L18

___

EDIT: Okay ran through all the test...duhh. Just needed more 3A SB fuses. 3rd coil in test mode, <mid ramp> blows F8. Not sure if anything else at this point.

FWIW about my comment on theme (don't want to make waves with my new club ) I like muscle cars, but drive a SRT 392. I like all American muscle and not just a Mopar guy. I would have like to see a non-licensed theme like a High Speed or a license like Death Race 2000 or something that doesn't potentially isolated certain owners. Anyway, thats my only gripe and it's minor. Like I said really impressed with this title, minus my current issue.

On a side note, Hurst shooter rod/plate combo from Hooked on Pinball is sweet and really makes a difference aesthetically.

After this post I will start an independent tech post, just figured some others might have had a similar issue.

I was searching my Google Photos for something and found this video I took of Mustang playing the custom audio code I added. Sharing just because I miss Mustang.

Working again!! My fault too. I dropped a small washer adjusting outlanes before this issue. It must have slid down and got caught on the piston that lifts mid ramp. After removing a few coils I was able to remove washer and everything back to normal.

I tried to retrieve when it happened with no luck. Figured it would find its way down into the cabinet...big mistake. Could have been worse though, but lesson learned.

Sweet. Did you delete the music tiles and leave blank on purpose? Can you change song titles vs deleting?

Don't remember exactly since this was from 4 years ago. I may not had added the titles on this version yet until I was happy with the song volumes and settings first.

Hey guys pretty quiet in here. How's everyones Mustang holding out? I bought my Pro NIB when they first came out and it's worked perfectly ever since. I'm still making Leg Lights if you still want them.

#1993 2 years ago

Overall my Mustang Pro has only needed cleanings. It’s been a very reliable game for me.

Right now my game is on vacation at a friends house. I love having a game out of my house for 6-12 months, because it’s like getting a brand new game when it comes home.

#1994 2 years ago

I've had my Pro since it came out and it's been solid. It's been to the MGC several times, used in tournaments and been at a few route locations when we need a quick temporary game. It still gets played a lot at home too. Fun Game!

The only problem I've had is occasionally the GI will get dim and I'll have to re-seat the cat5 cable that goes into the board in front of the drop targets. I've been meaning to change the cable, but it doesn't happen often and I keep forgetting to do it.

#1995 2 years ago

Hey that's great news guys. Keep on playing.

2 weeks later
#1996 2 years ago

Just fixed an issue where the “mustang” letters on the playfield backboard started acting strange. The “G” was constantly on and the rest of the letters flashed intermittent and dim.

Remembered untangling the main cable loom from one of the end light sockets some time ago. Checked it out and found the “G” socket diode was touching the bulb socket where it shouldn’t. Straightened it out, re-dressed the loom and it fixed the problem. It was an easy fix with the backbox lowered.

Note to self, and true on any Pinball. Use extra caution when raising and lowering the backbox!

Still love my pro. 2nd owner and it practically looks brand new. Just had to change 2 of the rubbers behind the drop targets. Other than that, still a fun game.
