Quoted from tamoore:That'll be news to the guy who designed it, I bet.....
Just relaying what the article says multiple times.
Quoted from the article:
With pinball enjoying a hipster-fueled renaissance in many cities and metro areas, others are likely to place the machine in dealership lounges or waiting areas as a trendy time-passing alternative to the now-ubiquitous Wi-Fi access.
HIPSTER-FUELED ?!?
...I'm no f*cking hipster...

Hipsters never think they're hipsters. It's kind of how you know they are in fact a hipster. The denial.
^^^If an article labels the resurgence wrong, but there are more pins in the wild to play, then I have nothing wrong with it.
LE and Premium mentioned in the article which is the first time we've had it confirmed. They sound like nice models too, although they only get a "genuine" badge mentioned as their feature (on top of artwork).
Interesting if Gomez did design it, maybe him and JT did it together?
So who is the designer?
The layout and features are definately pulled form the brain of John T, but the article and photo op stats Gomez...
So should I buy the premium model featuring Boss Mustangs, or do I wait for a possible later premium release (like AC/DC Luci) featuring Shelbys? (I don't own a Boss but, as my avatar shows, I do own a Shelby GT500.)
Wouldn't there need to be an additional license for Shelbys?
The look of the machine screams early 90s to me, but the cab art is ok. I just hope this machine plays well since it may be a pinball to which non-enthusiasts have the most access.
Quoted from Olddragon:Wouldn't there need to be an additional license for Shelbys?
that would probably depend on what ford has in place with shelby in regards to cobranded products.
Quoted from HOOKED:Anyone else notice the up / down ramp flap left side (like WW).
Yeah, saw that. CFTBL lagoon has one too, along with the bowl.

Articles often miss the nuanced details about stuff they don't understand. I see this in animation articles all the time - tons of mistakes. John Trudeau designed this game - but Gomez is the VP of Game Design & helps out with all the games.

I will be waiting for months after the "last" version, just never know whats going on any more.

Here is a video of George Gomez talking about the game. Sounds like he designed the game to me.
Edit: But it turns out this is a JT design after all.
The article was mistaken in listing George Gomez as the designer- it is John Trudeau. It has been amended if you read it now.
gomez..."I tried to populate the collection with a cross section of mustangs"....sure sounds like he designed it if you listen to him in the video.
From that article:
"It will be signed by game designer John Trudeau and features the 1965 and 2015 Mustangs."
