Hmmm don't know what to think about this one... i"m not that amazed so far. But glad to see pics. thanks
Interesting. I don't know about this one so far. Looks rather basic and stripped down compared to Stern's other recent offerings. I assume this is the pro model. The cabinet art looks pretty cool but it doesn't seem to match the playfield art which just comes off as "clunky" in my opinion.
Where's the main toy at? I hope it isn't the plastic car model in the middle of the game...Why couldn't Stern have a V8 crate model toy in the game where you have to lock up to 8 balls into representing one of 8 cylinders? Have left and right ramps be able to feed balls to the engine during locks using divertors or the balls just loop back to the return lanes. One you get at least 3 balls locked you can do a 3 ball multiball or risk going for a 4,5,6,7, or 8 ball multiball. Have a shot going into the front of the engine to represent fueling the car.
Even with the close ups, I can't quite figure out what's going on on that left side in the ramp area. Looks like a drop ramp? Guess I will wait for the video. Thanks for posting!
Get as many pictures as you can, let's really test Robins photo upload functions Closer details and more shots please
It will all about gameplay for me. I like nice looking cars in person, but I'm not a person that is going to put up pin ups of cars on my wall so the art package is not doing anything for me. I had a Getaway. Gameplay was fun and liked ZZ Top. Art didn't do much for me but fit the theme just fine. Same here?
Quoted from luvthatapex2:Is this an LCD or the same red dmd? Its supposed to be running the new system... thanks for the pics!!!!!

Like the ramp on Pinbot, man. You can shoot under it to what looks like an orbit, or some other target, or it can drop down to shoot the ramp. Same deal on Getaway (huge shock, right?).
Funky feed at the top lanes, I like it. Is that a scoop at the right of the car, and if so, looks like they already have a protector on it?
Can't believe I'm as excited about this all of a sudden, apparently my left foot has been neglected far too long this winter with my 'fun car' stuck in the garage till spring. Show me more!
Even if it's an LCD, they're still doing the graphics in monochrome apparently... look real close at the top of the first pic. That doesn't look like a DMD to me....detail is too fine.
It looks like it has a lot of shots. They also look to be moderately tight shots like Metallica.
Also, great to see the pop bumpers moved from the typical locations.
Not a horrible looking design, curious if the car will move or rumble. Anyone notice the toilet bowl ramp on the right?

This is clearly a generic pin made at the behest of, and financed by Ford. Where's my Walking Dead??
Quoted from DCFAN:What year Mustang is that toy in the middle? Also, what does the toy do in the gameplay?
Is it a 66 fastback? I'm not an expert.
They use a 2003-04 Mach 1 as the centerpiece car at the bottom of the playfield? Where is the new 2015 Mustang (which looks incredible IMHO)?

I didn't want to say that but I was thinking the same thing. Stern has done a couple of those and this has that vibe to it. Hopefully playing the game will change my view. This just seems like a step backwards from ACDC, Metallica and Star Trek.
FYI: Click on a picture to make it bigger... shows how much I know about checking out pics on pinside

I was thinking that as well. You would think Ford would want the 2015 Mustang front and center.

I don't believe it received half of the development investment as Trek, but anytime a manufacturer actually delivers a new machine as opposed to teasing about one I won't complain.
Quoted from Don1:Is it a 67 fastback? I'm not an expert but the scoops on the rear roof pillar are on that year (and others?)
Hopefully it is a 60's. The rear looks strange in the picture which is likely an optical illusion.

As a torch red 03 Mach 1 owner that's fine with me.
Thanks for the pics, please throw one up of the backglass, thx.
I'm a mustang guy, so I'd be interested in at least playing it to see how it plays.
For sure this is probably the pro version.. i hope the premium and L.E's have better side art and playfield.. looks kinda empty to me

You forgot Tron! I agree completely!
Quoted from Jimmyd044:As a torch red 03 Mach 1 owner that's fine with me.
I agree. If I still had the Mach, I would probably be much more interested.
I have an extra set of stock 03-04 Mach wheels in my garage. If you need an extra set, I will let them go cheap. PM me.
Quoted from gearheaddropping:Center section sure does look like Corvette....
That's exactly what I was thinking.
It does look like there might be some depth to it, with the main car inserts to move through/award, the table in front of the drop down targets to fill in, the red/yellow/green stop lights to play with, the six gears to light, seven white lights that do something I hope, rollovers that aren't a gimme as the pops won't just throw the ball back through them you'll need to shoot the loop to get the ball up to the top again with the post to stop the ball, moving ramps with multiple paths/reactions for variety, spinners (pheew!).
Poor Stern, I wonder how long they thought it would take before a Pinsider walked past their machine after they set it out.
