Does anyone have a breakdown of the value gain that you get by waiting to start gear shift multi. It looks like supers are 6 or 12 if doubled. Not sure about 4th or 5th.

I *think* i collected a 50M super when I started a 6th gear multi, but not sure.

Seems like stacking cruising with gear shift is a pretty good way to start, but i'm not all that familiar with the modes/values.

Any info on the risk/reward of holding out to start gear shift multi?

No breakdown (only played once on location), but the first super in 6th gear MB is most definitely worth 50M. It can also be doubled to 100M. GC scores of 1B will most definitely be doable.

With the wide flipper gap, it *may* turn out to be a good tourney game. Way too early for me to say for sure.

Ah - cool to know there's a 100M super potential. Anyone know often the super lights? Seems like you hit the drop bank a few times then the super lights for a short period of time.

If only someone who owned one could check it out and post how it works

Super value is 1 million times all gears added together. So, a 3rd gear super is 6 million - (1+2+3) X 1 million = 6 mill. 6th gear has a special one time only super worth 50 million. All supers after that are worth around 20: (1+2+3+4+5+6)

Ah ha! Thanks!

Excellent post. You can also increase the baseline super j's value by hitting additional jackpots after you have qualified the super. But I'm not certain how the incrementation above the base line super J value works.

Man, 6th gear is really hard to get. The other night in league I got a 6th gear MB on the 1st ball and everyone including myself was surprised. I usually like to cash it in when I get to 4th gear. A 3rd gear MB just really is not worth that much.

5th is doable, yes 6th gear is tough.

That progressive 'MUSTANG Multi ball' may make the pin unusable in a tournament like PAPA. I do not think the programming allows it to be shut off or modified.

In Tourney mode, each player has to spell Mustang starting at M. In normal mode it's progressive. Version 1.3

How do you light each letter of MUSTANG? Was playing with NES and SME and we were trying to figure out what lit a letter. It was older code though...

I've done it twice in one game, and done very well during both 6th gear multiball's, to the tune of 350+ million. Still, barely not yet enough to beat a certain local grand champion.

I love this game!!

That is great to know. Thanks.
