    These files cut like they do because of the way they are built. The file set you pictured are considered 'Swiss Cut' or 'Double Cut'. Only 2 down falls is if you do a large volume of filing they need to be cleaned often so they will cut as desinged, and 2 they are easily dulled by back strokes.

    A standard file will not in no way shape or form cut as well as a Swiss Cut file. As a small engine mechanic, locksmith and tool sharpener I've used a few different files in the past 17 years. By far Swiss Cut built files are the best!
