This is just about identical to the bad boy that I drove in my youth...5 bucks in gas lasted all week, loved it.

    Nice cars above guys,
here is my pride n joy, ive owned it for 19years, a real rust bucket back when i got her, but i spent a couple of $$ and a shit ton of my time on her. Its a special order, export right hand drive plymouth fury. Sold new in Wellington, New Zealand. Bit of a boring grocery getter from 67, not really what most would call a smart buy to put $$ into, but im not too smart, and i dont really like doing the same as everyone else, so here we are!
big block stroker 467cu, modified motorhome 727 box, detroit locker rear end (she has a badddd habit of smoking tyres) custom leather interior and most other parts have been worked on or modified in some way, not much stock, apart from the cool factory "III" trim

Nice trick on the plates Tim. Were you surprised when they said "pinball" was already taken? Nightsearcher has been rocking them for years
If all goes my way next weekend I'll be posting pics of a 70 gmc shortbox 350 4spd.

Ya I was shocked because it was like four five years ago I got it done. And pinball out here was not so popular then. so I thought I’d be the first. Then I was like how hard is this going to be. And turns out all I had to do was change the I lol. Also When did you pick up that can’t wait for picks.

Highly modified 1976 Monte S. Used for drag racing but since trimmed down for street use. Have since traded up my silver R/T for a red SRT8 after swapping the T/A hood over.

Cool thread!! I have been collecting cars for about 15 years. Currently working on the 70 Challenger rt. It has a 440 with a 4 speed. I also just picked up a 99 Formula ws6. They only made a 175. Super cool car!! Cars and Pins are the way to go for sure!!!

Had a yard sale this past weekend. When guys get to the car parts they start talking shop and whipping out their cell phones to show pics.
In 2 days i saw pics of a silver 68 Beaumont, a plum crazy 71 challenger and a yellow boss Mustang. All unprovoked. Just wanting to show off their rides

I’m in the opposite of the muscle car, don’t hold it against me. Just got my BRZ tS a few months back. I could have gone with the Mustang GT easily but didn’t even test drive. Reason being that to me, having come form a 414hp M3 powerful car that I felt to me was always having to hold it back to stay within reasonable speeds.

Before I had the M3, I had a S2000 low power, light weight and could use the power more of the time. Sure didn’t get up and go like a muscle car but a lot of fun to drive.

Like a lot of former S2K owners I was looking for a similar car but with modern features and found the BRZ to be adequate power.

This is a stock picture of my car, but otherwise my car is identical. 3003A6AE-C1D8-4A84-A360-489161A28D63 (resized).jpeg3003A6AE-C1D8-4A84-A360-489161A28D63 (resized).jpeg

Think you should go to the car and look real close at it. Valiant Signet, right? It does qualify as a muscle car. 2 doors, 4 seats, V8 engine. With the long hood, and short trunk it could also be a pony car.

    #46 5 years ago

Took my V8 66 Mustang out today. It ran a little rough in the heat and the A/C was blowing hot.

Best thing about classic cars is there is always seems to be something that needs to be looked at. I never use the AC but it's gonna drive me nuts knowing it doesnt work.

EDIT: Not sure how to sort the photos beneath the appropriate text.

[I don't have great photos on this hard drive of any of these, but posting what I've got]. Closest to "muscle" I've had is a '95 Vette. Got it in '04 and sold it in '08. Did the custom paint and exhaust myself. EDIT 2: The MOB RULZ license plate was in reference to the Dio-era Sabbath album -- I got plenty of weird/nasty looks for that one, haha.

When I was 16 (2001), I bought this '75 Ferrari GT4 for about $13k (I had already been working on vintage Ferraris in some form for many years at that point). It had been sitting in a barn for ages and was non-running (turning the key would spray fuel out the rotten hoses, there were some rust issues, etc.--though the interior was "nearly imamaculate"). I spent about 6 months tearing it apart, stripping it down to bare metal, repairing/restoring rust damage, rebuilding the engine, blah blah blah.

I currently own this 328 GTS and have had it 10 years (if anyone cares, Bon Jovi originally purchased it and owned it about 10 years).

    Quoted from calprog:

Cool thread!! I have been collecting cars for about 15 years. Currently working on the 70 Challenger rt. It has a 440 with a 4 speed. I also just picked up a 99 Formula ws6. They only made a 175. Super cool car!! Cars and Pins are the way to go for sure!!!
