Why on Earth would take a small block over a big block!!!

    Price
    Weight
    More room in engine compartment
    Higher reving
    Better fuel mileage
    Cost of parts
    Just to name a few.

Used to think those and the Camaros at that time were super powerful cars that would get you into trouble and wrap you around a telephone pole. When I was turning 16 in the 90's, my dad brought home an '85 IROC to test drive. I wanted that car SO bad. Never knew how much power they had though, just knew that it was more than the '91 Grand Am that I eventually got. So I just looked it up to see how they compare to todays muscle cars. An '85 Iroc was 165-215 bhp. LOL. Minivans have that much power anymore.

Amazing what they're able to do with engines today. My '17 Mustang has 435hp, and gets almost 30mpg on the highway.

My wife has a 63 Volkswagen Beetle she is interested in selling....
Anyone here versed that can help with an estimate or interest to buy?

Engine restored 4 years ago, its sat, so likely gelled everywhere.
A decent paint Job, but has some rust, and likely floorboard.
    Original interior, and dash...
So a restoration job, but I believe the engine will pass good muster....
    Off White, Hard top.

Yes, this one had the engine option that boosted it from the standard 180hp to...gasp...200hp lol. This one's been heavily modified though. You can't tell from looking at it, but you can if you hear it. I wanted a sleeper that looks original. It's right about 415hp now, 4:11 posi rear end, everything underneath was removed, sandblasted, painted and reassembled w new parts whether it needed them or not.
