Got lucky and was able to acquire Russell Westbrook's Dodge Demon Serial #14 with the crate and dash plaque personalized to Him.
Think there is significance to the #14 from the draft. 1st round #4 pick???

Not a muscle car, but picked up a new toy for the wife this weekend. She already wants to start "modding" it. Anyone know what stock exhaust the 2020 GT's have that we can buy to put on this?

Nice color. If that is a 2.3L, nothing from the GT is going to fit. You are much better off going with an aftermarket exhaust. Honestly, I'd start with a tune first. Just know that you will need to go over to premium gas to realize any real gains.

    #758 5 months ago

Thanks for the info. We aren't really looking for more performance, just to replicate the sound of the more expensive models if possible. I spent an hour searching this evening and couldn't find anything. Guess I will stop.at a dealership and see what I can find out.

It's not so much the exhaust but the V8 that makes the sound of a GT. Eventually you will get a higher pitch but you won't get that depth.

I've been going back and forth for weeks between a new Ecoboost and abused GT in a similar price range, I ended up going with the GT but only time will tell if it was the right choice.

My 1972. I spent the last summer installing the factory A/C and restoring the interior to factory original. This summer I plan on driving it. Go see the USA in your Chevrolet

Sure is! Carb'd 302 from a 1995 Mustang SVT Cobra. Some modifications have been done to it: most notably performance camshaft and TrickFlow valve spring kit. Sounds mean as heck when idling. While it may not have the powerhouse 427, I am ok with that. It is a good lil cruiser, and I instantly feel better about being me everytime I get behind the wheel!

Sounds like fun. FE engine parts are a lot more expensive than their Windsor counterparts. I'm sure that engine is plenty healthy for such a light weight chassis. There are a few FFR cars around here. If I was going to build one, that is what it would be.

That thing is so quick, it goes 10 mph even when standing still! (Or you are running next to it with the door open while it idles in first gear to take that pic)

    Haha.

Kidding aside, I'm usually not a "Nova Guy", but that is ONE I would be proud to own. So clean with black centerless steelies and lowered stance.

That thing must be an absolute blast to rip around in. Bravo!

Best looking Nova of that generation that I have seen! Love that you kept the interior stock with the bench seat. Really hate it when people over customize interiors of these classics. Paint looks incredible. I wouldn't change one thing on that car.

Nice to see a Nova in the group. Beautiful car by the way. A 70 was my first car and have had 4 different ones though my late teens and 20’s. Hopefully I will get one in the next few years.

It helps me keep tabs on my vehicles, and I know the job will be done right. When I worked at a dealership, we would have one or two engine replacements every year because a kid at Jiffy Lube didn't tighten a drain plug. Conversely, we also had to replace oil pans were drain plugs were overtightened or cross-threaded.

I can’t agree more. Putting in a clutch I smoked when I sent it earlier in the week. Having a few lifts makes life so much easier.

12 GT500. It has 7800 miles on it and I keep the underside cleaned up too. I put a bigger blower on it so the stock clutch was on the edge. I helped finish it off with a 3rd gear burnout.

1971 240z unofficial Scarab conversion with a 4 speed that I used to own. Stupidly got rid of it. It counts because it had a small block, right?

Wish I had some better pics.

Drove the Mustang on the street Monday for the first time since 1993. Drove it about 20 miles to the shop to have the electric power steering and a few other things done. The 306 was built in 94 for when I raced it at Bonneville and it surprised me how STRONG it ran. Now I hope I get it back for my friends 4th of July party, his 67 Mustang and my car will be on display. Here's a pic of his car also. Felt good to be back in the saddle again.

Tell me more about this one car stall you have with a 2-Post lift. How wide, deep and tall is it? I'm really in need of a shop to work in and have limited space at my current location.

It's 15x30, with a 12' ceiling. As you can see in the photo, there is room for me to park my ZTR by the back door, and that is an extended length Navigator.

Do any of you know the size of the deck stripes on a 2021 Durango? My wife has one with no stripes and would like them but I dont know the exact width and space between the stripes. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd post this question on Dudgedurango.net if you haven't already. Also if you're on Facebook there's an R/T / SRT owners group. Many of the members there have stripes on theirs and I'm sure can get the info for you.

Do your own. I put stripes on my 2006 Mustang GT. OEM ones looked way too thin for me. So I went to a local vinyl guy and we put 11.5in stripes with a 2in gap between. Looked awesome.

Looking at some photos online, I'd take a guess that they're 9-10inches with 1-1.5 inch gap.

I will be doing my own stripes and was just wondering what the factory stripes were. I believe they are 10 inch but was just checking to be sure. I have been doing my own for years so that wont be a problem. Thanks for the input.

My dad does most of his own powdercoat work, but there are some parts too big for his oven. I took the rear end and the air cleaner base for the 70 Mach 1 project to the guy who does my pinball powdercoating.
