Something special is happening in my hometown - cruise night is back. We have a street named Noland Road that was "the place" to cruise when I was a teenager and now its back. It was so popular in the day that Hot Rod magazine listed it as one the top 10 cruise strips across the country. Think American Graffiti or maybe even Dazed and Confused. With gas prices so low older dudes are pulling their street rods out and cruising again. So cool. Last night there was nearly 1,000 cars. I haven't seen it like that since 1985. What is so strange is that when I was young the popo used to harass us nonstop but now we're the old farts and the cops are the age of our kids! I need to get my Cragar SS mags back on the ponycar and make sure the Supertuner is jamming.

The bed should have wood and the exhaust is factory.

Had a check engine light come on on my 2017 Mustang GT with 25k miles, and I couldn't have been any happier!

For the last 2 years, or about 15k miles ago, I could just tell the car wasn't driving right. I kept calling it "slack in the line." Felt like I was towing a trailer sometimes. Inconsistent speeds. Felt like driving through puddles of water while doing 60mph. Or like it kept wanting to push me while coming to a stop. Or bucking a little while getting going again.

Luckly, someone else said they had the same problem, and got a few cylinder misfire codes. Turned out that it was the intake manifold and the actuators that control the airflow into the engine. The plastic rods become stripped or broken.

Took to the Ford dealer, and the found that same issue. Unfortunately, the parts are on backorder with no ETA. But at least they know about it, and it's covered under warranty. And will hopefully soon be able to enjoy driving my car again. For the last two years, I've been telling them the issue with them coming back saying that they've seen nothing.

Ha. Sorry. Had to tell someone that would somewhat understand my frustration.

Luckly you got in in time for warranty. I had a problem with my Explorer and just missed it and had to replace an oil line on a turbo for $2000.00, the part was around $20.00 and rest was labor.

Just installed my FST fuel filter. I made the bracket and braided stainless steel lines and had the bracket chromed. After 15 minutes of running the engine at 6.5 psi fuel pressure no leaks.

2018 Charger Hellcat. Its a ball to drive and I go thru a pair of rear tires in less than 3000 miles. Who cares about the price of 2 tires? They are cheaper than the boatwell was when I sold the boat last year.

I'll give a lot of props to Dodge/Fiat for making their Chargers and Challengers better every year and sticking with the same general look and not changing it up every few years.

Definitely a formula that works. They keep threatening to revamp the Challenger, but that will only end badly. Just keep pumping out these beautiful cars with massive HP!

Turning 16 in the mid-90's, my dad and I would talk cars quite a bit. ALMOST got a 1985 Camaro 350 as my first car. Ended up getting a '91 Grand Am instead. HA. But I remember discussing why they don't just re-make the old muscle cars from the late 60's/70's and just modernize them. The Challenger has been the closest to that. Got my 2006 Mustang just about 8 months before the 2008 Challenger was finally released. I needed a new car, wanted power, and couldn't not wait for the Challenger to come out, so I got the Mustang instead. It was fun in the 10 years I had it, and currently have the '17 Mustang. But I kinda wished I'd looked more closely at the Challengers now. Maybe soon.

I think that happens a lot. Chrysler is sorta looked on as a joke and maybe in the past they had reliability issues, but I can say at least with the Challenger/Charger/300, they are just well built cars. I have almost 100,000 miles on my 2011 Challenger and its been trouble free. Yes, you are going to hear the complaints about weight, but you really can get 4 people in a Challenger and 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk. Yes, it rides on an older C Class Mercedes chassis, but it still handles well and out of the 3, is the best road trip car, hands down. Smooth, comfortable and with plenty of passing power!! Dont hesitate to check one out!

Wow. There's a estate auction next week in Manitoba with some sweet rides in it. Anyone interested the site is McDougal Auctions. Tons of pics.

    73 Dart
    71 Cutlass Supreme
    72 Pontiac Lemans
    69 Cougar
    76 Ford Courier Truck
70 Torino. Has numbers matching 429 Cobra Jet engine.

The truck looks cool. I don't remember the Courier line. I'll assume it was Canadian made?

Haven’t posted much here as I haven’t had my car out much due to most shows cancelled. However couple guys from work brought their cars in to work yesterday too.

Left to right is my buddy’s 2015 Roush RS, my 12 GT500, and my bosses 2015 GT with Roushcharger Stage 1 kit.

The infamous and highly tuned JBR Mustang reeling in mid-70's 351 XB Coupes and 308 LH Toranas around the Adelaide Street Circuit (former Aust F1 GP circuit now used for Supercars). Privateers are brave doing this I rekon

I have a project hiding in the "barn". Buried, need to dig it out sooner. 700 built... '73 XA "Superbird". Poverty pack promotional sports coupe line, All were basic 302 clevo with C-4 or Top-loader. All had rear louvre. 3 colour choices, 2-tone. The orange is ghastly Lol

Mine is a Lime Glaze w/Emerald, and c-4 auto just like this one.... (this is not mine, if only mine looked like this)

Also waiting for restoration, stored, one of these...

The spare room in the engine bay stems from these being originally designed for the 202 inline six.

Mine is SS with L34 308 turbo pattern. Muncie rock crusher and Locker Salisbury w/discs. It's Royal Plum in colour (Purple w/gold met.).

    This was 1979 Bathurst...

That thing is makin' hay down Conrod Straight on the last lap, for a 70's production car. (3:40)

Lap record on last lap of a long race, 6 laps back was 2nd place. You can clearly pick up on the distinctive pace change from the penultimate lap to the final lap. Holdens dominated. Brock proved the quality of his metal by punching out the Lap Record on that final lap. All australian made, including donk. Holden is reworked GM pedigree in this car. The good old days.

That crest aproaching Skyline feeding into the Steep downward corkscrew... aproaching that at near 200km/h across the top of the mountain, to brake not being able to see the drop turn ahead of you, need some nads for doing that s#it!

I'm not even really a big Ford guy, but those are all beautiful.

I don't know what it is, but Fox Cobras give me a little tingle, haha (and yes I'm aware that the SN95/New Edges are "fox body" cars, but I'm talking about the '93)

It must be nostalgia, but they look so pleasing to me (when they shouldn't). Lip stick on a pig and what-not, but somehow it works. And well.

I'd be proud to have that in my garage, next to my neon teal basketball warm-up suit, super soaker 50, and GT Performer.

They are the epitome of "Rad!" to me, for whatever reason. Dudes that wore aviators before they were a fad drove those.

Maybe one day I'll build a polar white notchback with chrome ponies and a cobra body kit.

I’m with you on the Foxes. I grew up around them and got a 93GT in 96. My parents wouldn’t co-sign for a new 93 cobra at the time. But just out of high school with college and a part time job I couldn’t imagine why!!! But did get my 93 in some mags and had it making more power. But it was no cobra.

I didn’t realize the 93R’s came with the 4cyl base seats but it makes sense. Few more of the R’s.

Yeah, the SN95 cobras seemed like they were almost an afterthought. Interesting cars with the independent rear suspension, but I'm guessing those 32 valve motors were a nightmare (like the Lincoln MK version was).

The Taurus, being Ford's style leader at the time, probably didn't help either in the looks department. You can clearly see the inspiration and style ques of it in the SN95. Better than the much publicized Ford Probe/Mustang spin-off that was to replace the Mustang I guess...They really haven't aged well, especially the GT's with those grotesque 3 spoke triangle-esque wheels.

The "New Edge" cars were a much better looking car in my humble opinion.

Wow good too see this thread I started flourish. I sold my Challenger and built a gameroom and bought five pins. Lol
Roads are just crappy around here so just didn’t make much sense to keep the car sitting around.

Sold off my gameroom (gamerage) to buy the GTO now I am buying pins.
I can drive it in the winter until the county's first use of cinders then it gets stored until spring.
