Quoted from Spyderturbo007:You do realize that it's not the threat to people that matter, but the threat to pollinating bees, right? It might be a huge joke to everyone, but over 1/3 of the food we eat is reliant on honeybees. This just adds another thing to the laundry list of issues affecting bee colonies.
Let's take something that actually matters, trivialize it and turn it into a huge joke. Down vote me all you want, but honeybees are more important than you might think and their shrinking population should be something to take seriously.
For those of us in our 40s or older, think about your childhood. Do you see bees, or even grasshoppers, lady bugs, butterflies, now like you did when you were a child? For me the answer is, "No". And it's not even remotely close. Climate and habitat change effect the lowest rung of the food chain first and work their way up. I am not a climate fear-mongerer, but the reality is that change is here and some of it is already irreversible.
