Quoted from Diospinball:Vireland... I think you might just have something in the lcd idea... So much cool stuff you could do with that idea. I don't think it would fit the Munsters theme, and I doubt stern would be the right company to do something like that first. But, I think a company totally should do that. But, then again I'd love to have more games like Revenge from Mars(never played it. Really want to) and Star Wars Episode 1(really, really enjoy the game I think it gets a bad rap. Its a fun pinball game).
By any chance do you play at "Chicago Pinball?" I see you are in Joliet so guessing you have played there(especially since they have Episode 1.) Very cool place just always seems so empty so I am hoping it makes it. Let's talk the owner into selling like 4 older machines and getting a Munsters, lol.
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:I’m in for Munsters 100%.
I hope that someday we’ll have Blade Runner(Just 1982). Mad Max I think it can be a great idea. Also, I know that it is difficult to talk about this in my POV but I don’t mind to see eventually titles like "John Carpenter’s: Escape From New York(1981)", “Fright Night(1985)", "The Fly(1986)”.... just saying.
Btw, you will be 50 that’s nothing but a number man, congrats! I just turned 45 on Sept,16(a day after Batman day) and I’m not planning to grow up at all... I’m very young

No chance it would ever happen, but a 1985 Fright Night would be so amazing!!! It has just about the greatest poster of all time so I can only picture how cool the pinball machine would look.
Quoted from Rarehero:I was aware of Svengoolie but didn't really pay much attention to it. Bozo the Clown was a real Chicago staple, though! Friggin' 10+ year wait for tickets!!!!
Got to attend the show, meet the legend, and even play a tug of war game on stage with cub scout troop. About 25 years ago.
Screenshot_20181010-114247_Gallery (resized).jpgScreenshot_20181010-114300_Gallery (resized).jpgI am still shocked a Scooby Doo one has never been made. Been around longer than any animated series ever and has so many fans. Plus I can only imagine how cool of a board they can create with Mystery Inc., The Mystery Machine, and all the famous Monsters
I am so badly hoping those designs are legit. That would probably be my favorite artwork of a pinball machine ever!!!!!
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Today, I received 8 Mail Order Catalogs....4 of them had Munster T shirts, Several different...
DVD sets, Toys....I dont recall ever seeing anything like this in years past....
Anything else coming to market other than this Pin?
Over the years there have been pretty consistent Munster items put out. Bradford Exchange makes a bunch as some people were saying. About 6 years ago there was a figure set of the whole family in black and white. It sold at retail for around I beleive $75 or $95. I kept on wanting to buy it, but did not. Now a days it sells for about $400 on ebay. I so wish I bought it when available.
Quoted from CubeSnake:It's a near-certainty that Stern WILL indeed overcharge you AND as an additional gift, be of inferior quality. Sorry Stern, but the record you've made for yourselves speaks volumes...incomplete code, absolute amateur quality "artwork", McDonald's happy meal toys strewn about the playfields and, oh let's not forget cabinets with the durability of a soap bubble. Trust me, if there is a way to foul up such an awesome theme as The Munsters, Stern will be the guys to do it!
Um have you seen the released pics of the machines????? That artwork is fantastic!!
They have to use a shaker motor with Herman stomping, that idea can never be passed up. Along with the stairs rising for their pet dragon and shooting the ball for it to eat, I dont see how they can release it without that. I am also hoping Herman uses his most influential quite of all time, that the human race should follow.
DjpDwFVXoAAkvOe (resized).jpgI heard they are going to officially announce the Munsters release, with pics, on Black Friday!!!!! On top of that, with it being Black Friday, they are planning on mass producing the machines and selling them for just half the price of their regular machines. We can order them brand new for under $3,000!!!!!! On top of that, AHHH DAMN, I WOKE UP FROM MY DREAM, NEVER MIND!!
Quoted from calprog:Got the clock from the Bradford exchange. Can’t wait for the pin!!!!!
[quoted image][quoted image]
I absolutely love Bradford Exchange clocks, I bought one about 2 years ago and was so torn between Munsters and Disney Halloween clock. I ended up buying Disney Halloween but am tempted to still order The Munsters one too.
15426459930255268894767771794089 (resized).jpg4 months is quite some time to wait, I am believing it will all be worth it though and this game will be amazing!!!!
Sweet, pictures look exciting. Trying to zoom in to see more details. Thanks though, very excited for this.
Will be fun over this Christmas break to relax, continue to watch The Munsters, and just dream what this machine can be.
I am 34 and have been a Munsters fan since my teens, the humor and entertainment travel great throughout the years and it never gets old!!!!! MUNSTERS4LIFE!!!!!
Quoted from Guinnesstime:I understand these hype thread posts are always fast and furious, but are people really excited with The Munsters as a THEME or just the PIN itself?
MUNSTERS MUNSTERS MUNSTERS!!!!!!!!!!
Quoted from PinsOnly:My biggest fear is they colorize the clips and they look terrible. Stick with B&W for the screen for sure for me.
I hope the screen does have color, but for the clips of the show, definitely keep in black and white
Quoted from pinballaddicted:What game is that on the floor? I think Zombi Yeti posted artwork like that a couple of months ago.
Are you sure it wasn't "Zombo" who posted it???? Get it? Get it????? Wow I'm a Munsters nerd, but come on, let's see this thing!!!!!!!!!
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:That PRO looks simply beautiful man!
I so agree, I think the artwork on the pro is the best of the 3, but I feel like I would need 5o buy one with the lower playfield. Arghhhh decision, decisions.
Quoted from pinmister:I don't pay for $1 games- I walk away. Maybe I am spoiled by the 1Up business model where 95% of the machines are set to $.50. Also other routes around my hood are all usually at $.50 a play, unless newer premium model. If you can get $1 a play for Pro's-more power to you.
I am happy with them, as long as they offer the 3 plays for $2
Quoted from Shapeshifter:So, is Munsters of Rock the end of the game?
Seems like a pretty short/concise set of rules, compared to other Sterns.
Nothing wrong with that if it's kind of like Iron Man but it doesn't seem to be this way. [quoted image]
Is end of game really called Munsters of Rock? Talk about the ultimate Monster Bash rip off, lol. Either way though, Inlove it and cant wait to play it.
Oh no, I just realized Zombo is not on the Pro artwork!!!! Nooooo how can they leave him out on there?
Quoted from Blacksun:Jack's feed is live...
Do you have a link, I never watched one live before
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:I know that character it is important for you since the beginning of this thread man!... now I know who he is thanks to you
Yeah, that was just my favorite Munsters episode out there. I am not going to actually let it make my decision on what machine to buy, but was just hoping he would be on pro.
For any complaints about the game.......... WHATEVER!!!!!!
This is blowing my mind how awesome it is I I cant wait to get it!!
There should be a youtube video made that shows people arguing about how angry they are that 600 instead of 500 are being sold of the $9,000 fun arcade they are buying for their home. Have an audience sitting and watching the arguement and the audience consists of people who live in parts of the world where they are desperate to get drinkable water, people who live in tents off side of a highway, children who love going to school because they get a nice hot meal where at home there is nearly nothing. The camera can get close ups of peoples faces in the audience and their facial reactions watching this arguement go on.
I see many dont like my last 2 posts, but I was just trying to say, let's be happy and grateful we are doing financially well enough in life where we can buy fun games for our home that cost thousands of dollars. We are suppose to buy these things because we enjoy them, not because of their rarity.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Everyone's complaining they've seen it all, they've made it to munster madness, not much to the code, well maybe you should look at this as a throwback game were it was about high score not making it to some wizard mode but some deep scoring strategy code mixed in.try learning how the code really works and have some fun trying to beat your friends or just your last score.
*this is a friends score not mine and this is a great score but about 1/3 of his best on location
[quoted image]
Heck yeah!!!!!!! Monster Bash is my all time favorite. Of course I have gotten to Monsters of Rock dozens of times, but I still play it to try to pass my high score and have fun.
