Quoted from Rum-Z:

No lower playfield, just a big Herman Munster face in its place (ala the first AC/DC Pro), LOL... hopefully Stern doesn't do that. But I could see it.

The lower playfield in acdc doesn’t really do anything, kind of weak I think, more of a diversion from the game. If you could play both the lower pf and upper pf at the same time and have rules associated it with them, like combos or something, then I think it could be cool.

Quoted from Sinestro:

You mean like the Smaug toy, that just rotates his head and does NOTHING with the ball.
Hey man, my $5,400 GOTG has a Groot toy that eats pinballs.

Actually, the head follows the ball around the playfield, it’s pretty cool programming.

A big question is whether it will have the show voices. It will be really bad if it doesn't.

The B&W TZ at expo was amazing. I’d take a BW Munsters and then add a few colored mods that would really catch your eye.

So no show voice call outs?

Edit: just heard Herman and the curve ball call out. Not sure what it has to do with anything, but at least there are some.

What do the extra two flipper buttons do? Are they just for the lower playfield or is it to control some kind of magnets? Are there magnets in the game like in TaF or just the one in front of Herman?

Quoted from MK6PIN:

As stated prior, still on the website LE's are limited to 500 units, global.
Can't recall when Stern has ever "changed their mind" regarding LE's

Good grief...Certain Podcasters can't live without drama of sorts...I'll leave it at that

Didn’t they change on Batman SLE?

Whenever I buy an LE, it’s never for exclusivity. Instead, I buy because there’s something about the game play and features relative to other models that attracts me. That said, I don’t like that a manufacturer changes production numbers on game they’ve said would be limited to X amount. Instead, I’d rather they just produce a different version. At least that’s a little more transparent.

The game is fun and shoots well, it just needs more code. Right now, it's both narrow and shallow. Deadpool was similar and now it's a great game.

ummm
may want to look under the hood of Munsters...

There are traditional service rails in my pro.

I just listened to the head to head podcast with DS as the guest, really interesting discussion about Munsters and explains a few things like the zap button. After listening to it, I would not expect significant changes to the game code, it’s been designed the way it is for a reason. He also suggested that during in-house testing, people were not getting to Munster madness very often. I’m not sure how that can be given the skill level of the testers, as I get there once every several games with no ball save and stock settings.

Overall, I like the game a lot, it shoots smoothly, has good flow, many shots and the rules are different. Art and sound are great too. It definitely has that hit the start button one more time feel to it.

Quoted from luvthatapex2:

WOF will never get another update. Why would it? Lobby for recent games to get updates not something 12 years old!

Plus it’s pretty much complete, just missing a final wizard mode nobody can get to anyway.

Stern had a bad track record on avengers and X-men, but they’ve since improved. Munsters seems pretty complete. People may not like it with the current code, but that’s different than games where there are known bugs or things missing, not working.

Quoted from bigd1979:

Looks like a bunch of premiums are at the Texas pinball show...

There are a ton of Munsters here in general, Marco has premiums and pros set up. Premium looks cool.
