Quoted from PW79:Be sure to tell that kid its actually a monster game
It's been a monster game for Stern
Quoted from 3pinballs:The bummer is that you're going to have to wait 2 years to get a code update. We're still waiting on GB and that's why I'll spend my money elsewhere as in the MBRLE I just bought. Not to say that if I see it in a bar I won't play it.... I will!
I must be the only one that loves getting a new pin and going through the first few years with the code evolving.
Shit, 5 years latter, BOOM! new Metallica code! I love new code drops.
Quoted from 3pinballs:I agree I love new code too and absolutely Love the Munsters!
No rush, only if you have to have an LE
Quoted from JodyG:Someone is trying a little extra hard to justify their Monster Bash order, and looking a little foolish. So you love MB...awesome, have fun with it! But don't come here and tell us Munsters is crap when you haven't seen the completed game, let alone gameplay. It reeks of either trolling, or juvenile over compensation.
Bet me to it
Quoted from Maken:When you are going to own the game for a long time and you are a good player, it's actually one of the most important things to consider.
Agreed, I bought this game last week, I think I have just about seen every thing it has to offer, even with the 2.0 rom.
20181125_193317 (resized).jpgQuoted from Aurich:I think the new metric is counting standup targets.
Hey, don't go using our way to count. Stick to imperial.
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:The 100 LE are 220 volts for Europe and Australia market
Notice the pinsiders outside of the U.S are not complaining
AMD sold all their LE's in 2 hours. 50+
Pinball is not an investment.... Stern have made 100 more Munster LE's, now my LE is not worth as much.
Quoted from Aussiepinwiz:You were told right.
AMD may now get 10 of the extra 100.
Yay! That means our LEs 500-600 are in the Limited, Limited editions. That means they are worth more, right?
Quoted from noob-a-tron:After reading all these posts about The Munsters LE and how dare they increase from 500 to 600. I am on the Stern bandwagon without them i think pinball would be nowhere near as big as it is today. Only grudge i have is how much they now cost in Australia the Stern price rise came at a bad time for us Aussies our dollar sucks and will be sucking for a long time i think. I put my name down for a Munsters LE 6 months ago to go along side my dream pin An Addams Family full restore that cost the same as this Munsters LE. I was told by AMD i missed out and thought how and was a little upset.
Reading posts from people in the USA saying im getting rid of my LE i just ordered an LE and here i am thinking i will have to buy second hand. In Australia the Iron Maiden LE is still Fetching more than what people paid for them. Then i get a call from AMD nearly a week late saying i now can have a Munsters LE as 100 more have been allocated and 10 more are being sent to Australia. I think in the USA people do not understand how spoilt they are. Now i am very happy chappy thanks everyone at Stern and keep up the great work please please release a slayer pin!

Cograts bro. Munsters LE is going to look great next to TAF.
Quoted from noob-a-tron:Thanks mate pretty happy can not afford the NZ meet now though. Next year.
Nooooooooo! Damn you Munsters LE
So everyone here be would happy if Stern stuck to 500 Le's and just taken an extra 100 LEs for the export market out of the US market?
Suits me
Quoted from DCFAN:The Williams Collection came before Pinball Arcade. They were both Farsight Studios though.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinball_Hall_of_Fame:_The_Williams_Collection
Yes. I still have it and play it now and then on my PSP. If it was not for this I wouldnt have Taxi or WW Pinballs
Came out in 2007 .
Quoted from Tucks:This is not a bad review as I did have a lot of fun on both. I just think Stern are producing such great games at the moment out expectations are ever higher. Games do get better, think TWD or BM66 which are now great games
Think Lyman Sheets
Quoted from jonesjb:Can anyone confirm how many funs Munsters is?
If you can list the number of funs for Pro vs Premium vs LE, I’d appreciate.
Well.. it will be 1 more Fun after the 1 Fun you own
Quoted from jonesjb:Just one fun for Munsters? I have cash for a new pin ready, if I buy a Ripley’s and a W20 for the same cash wouldn’t that be two funs?
Depends on how much room you have, 2 pins is always better than 1, I would go that way. You have 3 years to decide on a Munsters.
Munsters seems to be selling well..
"Some good news and some bad news for Munsters Pinball fans- Since the release of Munsters, all the 600 LE’s have sold out, and Stern are reporting record queries on the PRO, AND almost all the Premium production has been sold out for the month of March."
Quoted from Whysnow:actually 16 coils plus the visor motor.
More than the most Stern Pro.
Yes and no, You can take away 5 coils just for visual effect without physical effect on ball or the gameplay, So 11 coils + a motor
Quoted from westofrome:AFM has at least 17 (plus the motor)
Ball trough
Auto plunge
2 flippers
2 slings
3 pops
4 Martians
Diverter
Scoop
VUK
Knocker
You forgot the one that kicks the ship when it blows up
Edit... I guess we can count the orbit gates as they have coils to open and close also

John Borg is busy
Just watched a Stern live stream, The LE's look packed under the playfield
https://www.facebook.com/sternpinball/videos/252296898997090/?t=1
Quoted from Who-Dey:Hell yeah they do. Did you see all of the coils that game has? Hoooooly sh*t, coils galore!
Don't get too excited, You'll wet ya pants
I thought you are getting a Pro? NO coils for you!!
Quoted from Who-Dey:I think im going with the coiless version of the game so i can save a few bucks.
I couldn't see my LE in the Video, so it must be on it's way
Quoted from Durzel:Maybe I'm being overly critical but how did Bally/Williams manage to churn out decent playfields back in the day?
There is a sense that people are making excuses for Stern here, like painting and clearcoating a playfield and getting it right is some unattainable utopia. If CPR, Mirco and co can do it so can they. Having to produce greater volumes is no excuse in my mind, particularly on a pin costing $6k+
I suspect, like many things, playfield finish quality is a function of cost vs desired profit. If enough people don't stop buying the products then why not keep chipping down the costs part?
Four different suppliers and chemicals that are not allowed to be used in this day and age.
