Quoted from Macca101010:

do you think it will be a Kapow with Premiums, LE's and SLE's?

If it’s happening Munsters will likely be a cornerstone title Pro, Prem & LE, with the SLE saved for Beatles, after all Beatles licensing is known to be notoriously expensive and those SLEs make up a big slice of the profit pie!

Quoted from Ballypin:

You KNOW they will use the wrong Marilyn. Beverly vs Pat Priest.

I remember this show as a kid, but had to google this and look it up, obviously I am a little too young

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

The music / theme never gets old.
Grandpas basement lab, spot as a bash toy,
The house, Eddie looking for wolfie, chase shot.. The car, and Herman himself..!
Ive got Munsters on the Brain.
Never saw these!

» YouTube video

So there was a different actress in the pilot playing Phoebe who then turned into Lily? Eddie changed after the pilot too and there was a change with Marilyn between season 1 and 2?

I have just learned a lot in this thread

Quoted from Jimmyd044:

The Munsters is another dream theme for me. A few other dream themes that I have disappointingly passed on are Mustang, WWE, Batman 66 and Aerosmith. Aerosmith is still pending based on code updates. I'm cautiously excited about a Munsters pinball machine.

Honestly go back and give BM66 a chance, as an LE owner I will be the first to admit the game was a turd upon release and pretty much stated that way for 12 months, I genuinely thought I had lost big on it and regretted the purchase, thankfully Lyman is the coder (one of the BIG reasons I risked the purchase in the place) and has spent the last 6-8 months pumping out code, which he is nowhere near finished yet and I couldn’t be happier the game is a blast and as a fan of the theme the integration of the theme is phenomenal.

If Stern can secure the Munsters licence as well as they did with the BM66 licence and Lyman is on the code and can put the same campy feel into the gameplay, audio visual and rules etc as he has managed with BM66 it will be awesome!

There has gotto be a staircase ramp with a hidden scoop under it though for Herman Multiball not having that mech/toy will be inexcusable, it’s the thing I remember most as a kid from the show.

Quoted from Budman:

The Munsters series had a better vibe IMO .... funny/ goofy as opposed to TAF that was a little bizarre and dark.

Even though I was super young when I was first introduced to both of these shows on re-runs I have revisited them during my teenage and adult years, the shows being different is what made them both so unique and ultimately made for great viewing.

Too many shows these days are the same and simply re-skinned or remade, from the shows my dad showed me from the 60s and 70s they even the ones that where similar had very different feels, love them both!

#140 5 years ago
Quoted from dsmoke1986:

Yawn...Zero interest in this theme. The show hasn't been in syndication since the 80's; no one under the age of 30 knows what the Munsters are...Is there a new movie or re-branded show coming out?

Quoted from iceman44:

Most people under 30 can’t/won’t buy a pinball machine. Get it?

Hey what is it, pick on the young pinheads today?

#157 5 years ago

I wasn’t born in 1964, my first exposure to all the great shows from the 60s 70s and 80s wasnt until the 90s but I loved watching all these shows with my dad, it was one of the reasons I got a BM66.

Even though I’m one of the younger pinheads I would still be interested in a Munsters pin especially with Lyman on code, it would look great next to my BM66, but it needs to have a lifting staircase/ramp that’s my one must, it’s the first thing I think of from the show.

#194 5 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

Supposedly, the Ka-Pow game sounds like it will be the Beatles.

It’s gotto be right? I mean Munsters is cool and all but no way the licensing costs more than Beatles!

Beatles licensing is notoriously expensive, so Stern are surely going to utilise the SLE model to bump up that profit margin, in their position with these 2 licences who wouldn’t!?

Quoted from rubberducks:

It looks like it was mocked up from various assets (genuine or not) in 5 minutes in Photoshop, with a bunch of inconsistencies.
As someone else pointed out, there aren't even any flipper buttons on the LE. Neither have lollipop rails.

It’s likely just that, an internal mock-up to show the art design of each model nothing more nothing less.

#588 5 years ago
Quoted from rubberducks:

It looks like it was mocked up from various assets (genuine or not) in 5 minutes in Photoshop, with a bunch of inconsistencies.
As someone else pointed out, there aren't even any flipper buttons on the LE. Neither have lollipop rails. If this is from Stern and actually real rather than misinformation, you can only take this as vaguely indicative because of how rough it is.
If this looks "great" in the form presented, then Stern better cease their recent cosmetic efforts, as it's a waste of time.

And both look great from an art perspective, Premium looks sweet and the LE although not my favourite of the two fits the theme really nicely for those that’s want that old school look to go with the theme, another job well done by Franchi imo!

#597 5 years ago
Quoted from frankmac:

Both look great to me.
I hope Hope the design is on point and for god sake no plastic ramps on the LE.
I am still recovering from my Borg Gotg LE.

Borg loves plastic ramps, the only recent Sterns designed by him that I can think of that didnt come with plastic ramps are Metallica & Aerosmith.

IM, Avatar, TRON, X-Men (need to double check), TWD, KISS, GOTG all have plastic ramps, maybe it’s just his preference.

Quoted from Tuna_Delight:

If then. Word on the street is November ... ish.

Heard November as well, just can’t if that’s the time it’s expected to be revealed or shipping

#712 5 years ago
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:

Reveal i heard yesterday is at Expo in Oct. Probably shipping not long after that.

That would probably make for November shipping then? Stern are really pumping these out!

#737 5 years ago
Quoted from pindude80:

The team on the game is usually a make or break for me. Who is on the team for Munsters, besides Borg?

Borg designing, Dwight on code, Franchi on art, certainly an awesome team!

#738 5 years ago
Quoted from Shapeshifter:

No way will Stern do that again!
This is a Stern game, not a Kapow.
Expect all guns a blazin at Expo

Correct Munsters is all Stern.

Beatles will be the next Stern & Kapow collaboration.

Quoted from MK6PIN:

Great post Doug!!! It's hard to believe there's enough $$$ in these toys now to turn significant profits on NIB.....suppose I could be wrong.
Munsters has an appeal to me, but can't part w any of my current lineup, and out of practical room (!?!)
Think I'm holding pat for awhile.......

Quoted from Diospinball:

I think finally the Prem might be the best art package... I do think the LE looks slick and cool though and the handles are a nice touch.

I agree that Prem art package if it turns out to be the production art is fantastic!

But are those really handles on the LE or just part of the artwork? I’ve seen people say they are handles but in the photos they simply look flat/part of the art.

#1218 5 years ago
Quoted from arcademojo:

Lets see, probably 500 Le units sold. Half go overseas = 250. I would guess at least 50 flippers buying LE's to pump out some change on a quick flip.

Based on the art that was leaked (if it turns out to be what’s made it to production) its premium all day for me love that leaked artwork for the premium.

#1235 5 years ago
Quoted from Kolchak357:

I’m not a big fan of mini lower or upper playfields. So that has me a bit worried about this one (if the rumors are true). But I love this theme, and I’m pretty excited to see what is revealed. Art and toys have potential to be really good.

Rumour is the Pro won’t have the lower/upper playfield.

#1494 5 years ago

Have to admit I am pretty excited to see Munsters revealed. Lower playfield? Upper playfield? Main playfield? Lifting staircase ramp with subway? So many cool possibilities.

#1503 5 years ago
Quoted from Diospinball:

A clock with a raven that pops out.

Stern there’s your topper!!

Would be great having the raven pop out of the topper and hilarious when it scares the shit out of guests, brilliant!

#1505 5 years ago
Quoted from EricHadley:

Why is no one talking about this?
[quoted image][quoted image]

There is several pages of discussion on these leaked photos, they have been posted several times already. I love the premium if that’s made it to production happy days!

#1563 5 years ago
Quoted from Yelobird:

From what a few distributors are saying this will Not be out this year contrary to what several have claimed as fact on this thread. Early 2019 is what was always stated. My Guess is they will use this as the show stopper release at the TX show to slow down any possible momentum from Deeproots celebration. Again, that part is just my Guess without fact.

As much as I am looking forward to the reveal of this pin, I guess the longer it takes to come out the longer I have to save up

Fingers crossed that premium art makes it to production, love that art package!

#1565 5 years ago
Quoted from RA77:

What? I missed this, what’s happened? I was pretty pleasantly surprised and excited by Oktoberfest.

#1612 5 years ago
Quoted from Rarehero:

Well that's not true. Every model has an LCD, and the SE and LE have a giant color LCD that blows away anything Stern's done with their iPad screen.

The MBr “dots” are f’in gorgeous and a huge improvement/upgrade over the originals dots, the level of detail on the remakes dots is simply amazing, a true upgrade over the original.

But I wouldn’t say it’s better than anything Stern has done, Lyman & co have done a wonderful job with the lcd in BM66, the clips are brilliantly timed with the gameplay and integrated seamlessly with pinball related text/info and the custom backgrounds they have made for each mode, where the clips sit in a tv frame capture the campyness and fun of the show and theme perfectly!

#1637 5 years ago

Let’s not turn this into yet another Stern bash thread or Stern vs JJP thread.

We have all been here long enough to know both companies have had issues, I’ve had several with my recent Sterns but truth be told, they sorted every single issue I had and then some to ensure I was happy. As long as both companies do that and stand behind their products and me as a customer I’ll buy from both!

At this point I’d just love to see an official tease from Stern, fingers crossed that leaked premium artwork made it to production!

#1665 5 years ago
Quoted from jfh:

We should know a lot more on the 12th ...

Of this month? That’s a lot sooner than I was expecting, but great news if true, cannot wait to see this game just trying to keep my expectations in check and fingers crossed the premium artwork that leaked made it to production!

#1677 5 years ago

Kiss & GB updates are coming, it’s more a matter of when and what exactly will be in those updates that’s the question.

Within the last 12 months Stern have really stepped up to the plate when it comes to code, we have easily seen them the most dedicated to code and as a result had some of the best code updates in their history.

#1703 5 years ago
Quoted from NoQuarters:

Quoted from wolfemaaan:

How does a thread like this get started without any evidence this game is ever coming out? I see people here selling their mothers and pets here for a vapor pin.
Maybe I should start a rumor thread about a Pin that will never come out based on Porno Actresses. As least the faked cabinet art will be enjoyable to look at. ‍♂️

Firstly it’s been all but confirmed by regular guys in the know who are right 99% of the time.

Secondly we had the proto artwork leaked along with Franchi (the games rumoured artist) suddenly going Munsters mad his end.

Third point is that this is a speculation thread, plus the best time to sell a game for another game is before that new games dropped, less competition.

And last but not least Munsters is next

Quoted from cooked71:

If it is TPF, thats a big gap between games - DP was late August. That’s over 6 months.

Maybe all the current titles in production plus DP, Beatles and Primus are keeping the line busy enough for Stern?

One things for sure they are making it clear how they can pump out games like nobody else.

#1866 5 years ago
Quoted from cooked71:

If it is TPF, thats a big gap between games - DP was late August. That’s over 6 months.

George mentioned at Expo that next year we will finally see Stern pins going online and auto updating.

Maybe the gap between corner stone titles is to get that ready and make Munsters the first “online” pin from Stern?

#1871 5 years ago

At Expo George mentions about Sterns going online (automatically downloading updates etc) next year, maybe Munsters will be the first such release which is the cause for the long window between releases.

#1885 5 years ago
Quoted from benheck:

Collecting pin data through an online system is a great idea. It would allow Stern (or whoever) to create "heat maps" of what's being shot in a game and give them real-world data on how to best improve the code on future updates.
Just don't make the update process like consoles - where you plop down to play a game but NOPE the console needs to spend 20 minutes updating itself and then the game another 15... by time it's ready are you even in the mood anymore?

Both the PS4 and Xbox one in our house updates OS updates automatically during the early hours of the morning, if Stern can set it up like that it will be ideal.

Totally agree it has to avoid being like the game updates, those a f’in annoying, my son recently wanted to play the new Spider-Man game and had to wait 20minutes for a damn game up date, that needs to be avoided and easily can with a pin.

#1889 5 years ago
Quoted from Marcdaddy:

One thing i learned about Stern is they seem to never do what is we consider right on the release schedule/timing of their machines. They just dont care, there will be a new title shipping in later half of January. Also dont be surprised if there are 2 cabinet options for the Premiums.

New title in Jan? I thought Munsters was next and everyone is now saying that won’t be revealed/arriving until March?

#2012 5 years ago

So the leaked premium artwork is now the pro artwork? Fingers crossed it’s also the premium artwork cause it’s bad ass!

#2083 5 years ago

Looking at the pro features list and rule card looks like Spot acts as a ramp diverter pretty neat way of one upping bicycle girl.

#2161 5 years ago
Quoted from westofrome:

Every time I see the new Stern table I find myself looking forward to the next generation taking things over at Stern. There's only so many variants of standard-body, pops nest, Italian bottom, no subway, minimal-mechs design before it all blurs together.

That was my initial impression looks like your typical Borg layout, which isn’t a bad thing most of my collection is made up of Borg designed games, but I would like to see him mix up his layouts a little more.

Looks like a very slightly modified GOTG, Groot moved slightly to the left and the ramps pushed over with it, grandpa scoop is the orb etc BUT this rumoured lower playfield with Dwight coding instead of Lyman/Lonnie is a new design/code combo so both of those things could really mix this layout up so I’m still pretty excited to see the Prem/LE.

Plus John knows how to make fun shooting games that make you want to keep pressing start again and again, which is the most important thing for me when buying.

#2245 5 years ago
Quoted from Sinestro:

6. There is an upper playfield on the Premium/LE as well as a lower.

If only, that would be pretty cool.

But I’m excited to see the lower playfield especially if what mnpinball says that it will be better and more involved than AC/DCs.

This will be a fun one, I believe, and a nice way to start the year.....

2019 could be a great year! I haven’t brought anything since BM66LE but if the rumours are true about Stern having Bond and it’s a Brian Eddy design then that’s a must buy for me along with Munsters!

That’s an expensive way to start the year ....

#2998 5 years ago
Quoted from jfh:

vireland is frequently over the top. He’s never gotten over Batman not being released with 1.0 code. Stern told everyone at Expo what was going to happen, he bought the game knowing the code situation and bitched about it relentlessly for over a year. You want way over dramatic? Check out his posts in the Batman thread.
Stern has gotten significantly better with code over the last couple of years but still hasn’t reached their stated goal of feature complete at release. If that’s a problem for you, don’t buy a game until you are saisified with the code.
I bought a Batman LE because I wanted an LE and was willing to gamble that Lyman would make things right. And it was absolutely worth the gamble. But that’s the last time. I’m not going to buy and bitch.
I want both Munsters and Elvira but if I miss out on an LE because I’m not happy with the code at launch, so be it. Like everyone, I always want the code to be better. But it’s my responsibility to buy a game only when I’m happy with the code not before. I think Stern has finally learned that code matters, but we have to emphasize that by not buying games that aren’t at acceptable levels of code (or quality).

Well said!

Elvira and the Munsters and a Steve Ritchie original game maybe? Some kind of a Vault im guessing but Elvira 3 and Munsters are huge.

Borg’s Munsters
Brian Eddy’s Jaws/Bond?!?
Steve’s unlicensed game
Elvira
Maybe a Vault?

#3334 5 years ago
Quoted from Hazoff:

How is it people know without seeing it that the B/W version if its a reality won't be great?

Don’t think anyone is saying it won’t be great, more along the lines of it’s not what they would want.

I was down for a black and white munsters but when that Franchi artwork got leaked that is now what I want, those colours and the art itself was awesome compared to the much more understated b&w artwork that got leaked.

I think both packages looked great, but that b&w artwork needs that gold/brass trim to make it really pop and I can’t see that being put on the premiums.

#3337 5 years ago
Quoted from benheck:

Pinheads demand 50 year old license based off black and white TV show then worry the art might be black and white.
Sounds par for the course.

Blame Franchi for that, the coloured “premium” artwork that leaked last year was fantastic!

#3357 5 years ago
Quoted from Pinhead1982:

An LE over here is likely to be 11K-
($15k)

Take DP pricing add £500

And at those prices, one would have to be boredline stupid to buy one, comes a point where we have to just stop buying in the U.K. as we are getting fleeced more than any other country and we continue to act like it’s ok.

#3400 5 years ago
Quoted from Who-Dey:

Well the reason i believe that is because Borg is a great designer and he makes awesome games. BM66 was "The" #1 dream theme for me but i honestly just dont like the playfield design much. I tried to love it because i wanted one because of the theme but the game just doesnt do much for me. Its beautiful and has good code now but i still dont like it enough to buy one.

Have you played BM66 on the latest code? It’s beyond good, if your a fan of the 60s show it’s Lymans best coded game, the theme integration is unmatched.

In typical Gomez fashion you have to tweak the game and dial it in, specifically the left orbit but once you get it setup just right it’s great.

At release it was a steaming pile of shit but it’s now the No.1 game in my collection.

#3402 5 years ago
Quoted from DerGoetz:

I thought it was Godzilla...
dun dun dun dun

It seems Stern sure as shit have some great themes in reserve, if all the rumours and chatter is true.

We know they have Munsters and Elvira, then there is Godzilla, possibly Jurassic World and now we have new rumours that they have Jaws and Bond now, Bond alone is a huge licence.

All I need now is a lottery win and my problems are solved!

#3403 5 years ago
Quoted from Budman:

What exactly do you have to do to the left orbit?

Depends on the build, mine was fine out of the box, but on some games opening the left orbit up is necessary by moving the blue end rubber and left ramp wiring to the inside/right of the underside of the ramp.

#3430 5 years ago
Quoted from Budman:

How would Pinstadium know? I think he is making an assumption here. But if for some reason he has inside info, it certainly wouldn’t be every model that had that playfield.

He doesn’t, he says that about every game that the UV glow will be the best thing your eyes have ever seen and it unlocks the playfields UV palette blah blah blah, it’s marketting talk.

Pinstadiums (white GI strips) do look great on some games but that UV flash stuff looks like clown puke on crack!

#3437 5 years ago
Quoted from cpr9999:

Are we all ready for a black and white Premium?
Here is an example TZ b&w- what do you think?

Cool, but not having the shooter lane white is an eyesore, it was the first thing to grab my attention the yellowish tone of the wood, spoils the overall look.

#3474 5 years ago

If Stern have already produced both colour and b&w art packages, then just do both!

Stern have done it before where they made two LEs with AC/DC & TF, there’s probably others but those spring to mind, so just make a colour LE and a B&W LE.

#3475 5 years ago
Quoted from mnpinball:

Everyone at Stern is reading these posts so keep making your opinions heard about the black-and-white because the premium will be built last of all three models......

B&W premium and I’m out and Franchi is to blame for that as his leaked “premium” artwork, seemingly now the pro artwork was gorgeous!

Do a AC/DC & TF dual LE release, colour LE & b&w LE releases, as well as a coloured premium and pro and everyone’s catered to.

#3487 5 years ago
Quoted from JimB:

Highly unlikely IMHO. They don’t want to guess on how much stock to order. Seems like it would slow the line down in the long run.

Not if the rumours that there is a B&W version are true, it’s already an asset they have created, they will have stock already and the line will already have both versions planned for builds.

Just add an extra LE to the mix, which wouldn’t be a first for Stern adding an additional release to a title it happened with TWD when they added the Prem after the demand for the LE was so great.

#3500 5 years ago
Quoted from mnpinball:

LE is full color.

And premium is? Or are there going to be premiums like Metallica?

#3503 5 years ago
Quoted from flynnibus:

They order stock based on expected numbers... having stock doesn't mean excess.
Two... what you see as easy... stern and distributors see as a big expensive box they need to move...(sell)

If they have a coloured model planned and a B&W model planned, they can order more of those assets if needed, that was my point, not that they have excess.

Besides Stern have done it before multiple times, adding a model for Stern is child’s play, it’s why they rule they rule the market.

Quoted from Budman:

I agree and therefore fear for my bank account and happy marriage. I am buying BM66 and Munsters...with two more being SR’ game and Eddy’s.

Yeah 2019 is looking dangerous for a lot of Pinsiders marriages

#4839 5 years ago
Quoted from Kkuoppamaki:

I played both and although I’d like to play mores before locking the answer I’d take the pro over premium based on how it plays. The lower pf is nice but a bit gimmicky imho, introduces an element of stop and go and had a feel of less control. The Black and white theme is very nice though, I have to admit

Did you or do you feel you could ever flip both playfields under control? So far everyone who’s mentioned getting multiball on the lower and main playfield simultaneously said they just restored to double flipping both buttons both sides.

#4842 5 years ago
Quoted from jonesjb:

Couldn't you just cradle the balls on one playfield, then play the other... When it drains, revert back to the other playfield.

Yeah but in that case you might as well not have them running at the same time. Plus code could always change the ability to cradle when both playfields are active.

So I am curious to hear from those that have played the Prem/LE how it felt to them having both playfields in play at once, is it possible to play them both with any control or is it pure mayhem?

Quoted from iceman44:

Just takes a bit to get used to it
Kind of like GB and the opposite flippers

#5006 5 years ago
Quoted from Yelobird:

This game and topic is like a run away freight train based on a 9th party web bloggers comment without Facts. If Kanada says the next Stern might be Barbie done in only shades of pink will that be the assumed company direction? Until the Company Directly makes a statement (which I really doubt) about a change this all seems like a speculation rumor fire. JMO

It’s the half dozen Stern distributors that people are saying have confirmed to them that LEs are now 600 in total that’s got people scratching their heads.

Also Jeff @TWIP is usually on point, once mnpinball confirms or denies it you know it’s happening or not.

#5014 5 years ago

I’m actually surprised anyone gives a crap about how many LEs are in a run.

I’ve brought a lot of LEs and the number they are limited to is the last reason I’m buying, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever looked or paid any attention to how many are being produced.

I go in on an LE to get the full gameplay experience with all the extra mechs/rules etc, if it has the best art package as well as overall package powdercoated armour, backglass etc and that’s my decision made, don’t care if there is 100 or 1000 aslong as I can get one

12
#5065 5 years ago
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:

You understand that Stern told PROSPECTIVE buyers that the LEs would be limited to 500 right? Does it not strike you as unethical to then increase this number AFTER the vast majority of those 500 purchases have been made?!
Or perhaps you feel that it's okay for Stern to disregard whatever they've previously promised, whenever they wish, in order to sell games because that's what they're in business for!?

Wrong, Stern haven’t put the LEs on the line yet have they? Until they are on the line nothing is set in stone and Stern know this which is why every feature matrix they have ever produced always says “subject to change/adjustment”.

5E3B4B8D-1F00-4C44-A467-7BD94A4563E9 (resized).jpeg5E3B4B8D-1F00-4C44-A467-7BD94A4563E9 (resized).jpeg33303E0F-5946-4D67-B0E0-FECD7A0F2E1A (resized).jpeg33303E0F-5946-4D67-B0E0-FECD7A0F2E1A (resized).jpeg

And I speak from experience as a BM66LE/SLE buyer I have been in this situation where Stern increased the numbers last minute, but it honestly didn’t bother me, it makes no difference to the value of your game, unless you where buying it because it was limited to 500?

Personally when I buy my LEs the number being produced doesn’t even factor into it, 100 or 1000 of them as long as I’m getting the game/features I want that’s why I’m buying to begin with and I’m happy.

Where you show a picture taken supposedly at 12:30AM in Chicago (why is it light out?) that was taken in 2017, not 2018 (when you made the post), at least according to its image name.

While listening to the the Special When Lit Podcast when interviewing the people involved in the machine it sounded to me like they specifically added/left the laugh track in.
You are also the guy posting multiple times in the Deadpool speculation thread about who was working on what that was completely wrong, and posting pics of the line from the same 2017 date as the pic in this thread.
I've been seeing your posts for awhile and just been generally ignoring them as bullcrap, but looks like some people are taking them at face value. Seems like you are just trolling for sh*ts and giggles, and that's just kinda sad. I'd be happy to be proven wrong and have a Stern resource posting regularly on here, but not holding my breath.

Wakky either trys really really hard to misdirect everyone (saying Deadpool wasn’t next, munsters wasn’t happening etc etc) is just trolling us or he’s the factory floor cleaner and doesn’t have a clue beyond that.

Not really. The right oblong target keeps the Lily mode more accessible for new players. The left target has way more inserts than there could be targets.
Rob

Lily would have been more interesting and difficult as standups.

Dragula would have been great as 4 drops with 3 standups found behind them.

#5586 5 years ago
Quoted from 3pinballs:

I know it's not a way to cut costs, but how cool would it be to have a 3 target, like in SM going into Sandman, drop and then have 1 moving target that you'd need to hit. That would be a nice enhancement in my opinion.

We might see another SM reskin before too long, what with Far from home coming out after Avengers Endgame next year, with sandman, hydroman and Moltonman featured along with Mysterio.

Is there a summary of the ruleset? Does the game center around modes for specific characters, are there multiple levels of character modes, is there 1 or more wizard mode?

One of the best write ups so far

Regarding the Lily target can TimeBandit run his TLS on Spike 2 yet?

He’s done some awesome drop bank mods for Ironman, Tron Pro among others if TLS does work on Spike 2, I bet he could hook Lily up with some drops.

#6604 5 years ago
Quoted from PinMonk:

On the newest released code there is nothing permanently on-screen beyond levels I and II. Level III (and beyond? I'm not there yet) is just a text screen next to video of the character finished that says "Level 3 Completed" after the Munsters coach drives by on the screen.

Each character has levels I & II as shown in the LCD backdrop, isn’t it Munsters Madness that Dwight said has 3 levels?

#6666 5 years ago
Quoted from bigd1979:

It's also nice the pro has the dual color gi which adds a nice effect during gameplay.

Don’t get me wrong I love me some Stern, check my collection for proof of that but we are in 2019.

We really shouldn’t still be grateful that we get RGB lighting, in this day and age with consumer tech as it is today, it should be standard at this point.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Has anyone else noticed the weird arch shading 2/3 of the screen in a lot of the clips? It's mostly visible in the end of game clips (but not on all of them), but it's in some of the clips in the game, too. I thought maybe it was suppose to be simulated TV glare, but given that it's on clips without the TV in the gameplay part, I don't think that's it. It's pretty obvious and once you see it, you can't unsee it. The area to the left of it is lighter with less contrast in both pictures (and everywhere it appears on clips). Here's two examples...

At first I thought you had lost your mind Vic

But I can see it now and your right you can’t unsee it, weird thing to have in the video.

Jack keeps pissing in his own corn flakes. His lost sales aren't my problem.

Jack needs to pick a theme that’s of interest, it doesn’t have to be relevant or nostalgic just something people give a shit about, Johnny Depp and POTC are about 10 years too late and have both gone the way of the dodo!

#6868 5 years ago

Curious what people think, do you guys prefer the new signed plastics/cards or did you like it more when LEs where signed directly on the playfield?

No right or wrong just curious what was preferred!? Munsters playfield would have been perfect for signing with Dwight and Borg in the artwork.

#6912 5 years ago
Quoted from Squizz:

So can this be cleaned without removing the signature?

Unless it’s permanent marker I wouldn’t and even then I don’t think I’d risk it!

Only reason I asked the question was I kinda liked the signed playfields and after looking at the playfield art I thought Munsters was perfect for signing directly on to the playfield because Borg and Dwight are both in the art as postmen in the outlane areas, would have been pretty cool.

Outstanding Job Stern!

Looks great, no matter what anyone says it’s one good looking pin! it’s a shame that 1313 shooter decoration wasn’t a little more creative and used the actual shooter rod as the door knocker, that would have been sweet!

Quoted from Bublehead:

The problem with the Herman sculpt was they were shooting for that “darn, darn, darn, darn, <scowl>” look when Herman is frustrated, shaking his fists, then does the crossed lipped scowl... I got the reference immediately, but I watched WAY to much Munsters growing up. Everyone remembers Herman differently, but the current sculpt is not as far off from the vibe they were looking for, it just didn’t nail it like the funny Herman did in the diecast car, imo.

Whenever Herman is depicted in colour isn’t his jacket brown? It’s that grey jacket and black tee that makes him look like The Herminator!

Holy shit a $10 cliffy and washers... It's like the great Gatsby around here!!!

If I could give you unlimited thumbs up for this law I’d be here all damn night, when I read the cliffy and washer comments I genuinely spat my coffee out laughing, if all it takes is a cliffy and some washers to impress someone then it’s no wonder Stern continually experiment with what they can remove or cheapen on a game, smart business right there.
