Quoted from J85M:There is several pages of discussion on these leaked photos, they have been posted several times already. I love the premium if that’s made it to production happy days!
Oh! Guess I missed it!
Looks cool, will pick on up on the secondary market if it proves to be fun and code complete by then
After my back and forth between Premium and Pro then watching the Premium stream I decided the lower looks like a lot of fun but I got really tired of the B&W so I put a deposit down on an LE!
I couldn't care less if they make 600 vs 500, glad more people can own one. It won't change the value of it.
Quoted from pin2d:Not to be that guy, but 100 extra LE units sold to distros at...$8000? = $800,000
I 100% get the frustration but if you were running a business what would you do?
A) stern doesn’t get 8000, maybe 7000? Then factor in those 100 probably would buy a premium. Which stern gets what, 6000 for? They really are only gaining 100,000 dollars. I think the reason is the demand, lots of people want the LE and stern wants to put it in more hands.
Quoted from iceman44:Did you flip back to the Premium Wacky?
No way! LE ALL THE WAY! MAKE MORE
I don’t think they “went color” the premier was in color and the rest was b&w due to cost and competition at that time
Quoted from Blacksun:Thanks Rick for the reply, Apologies you got some down votes on your response. Sad we can't have an open conversation as to what this extra 100 alleged units impact has financially both on us the customers or Stern. Both monetarily or reputation wise...
Thinking out loud, I would think Stern adding another 100 units could be perceived as devaluing the current purchased LE units by 20%? The same exact amount Stern is allegedly increasing. $1,799.80 ea unit. $1,799.80 x 500 = $899,900...
The “value” of the LE remains unchanged.
We’re still on this 500vs600 bullshit? Jesus they need to ship some games so we can have unboxings to distract us.
I wish they would call the LE the ULE (Unlimited Edition) because its just a nice blinged out machine and they should sell as many as they can. I don't see any reason to limit them, rarely does that lead to increased value. I think maybe Torn LE is the exception to that rule.
Quoted from Waldo:About to open these up.

OH MY GOD!!!! HOW DID YOU GET THOSE????? OPEN THEMMMMMMMM
Quoted from Aurich:There's also been an attitude change in pinball. Iron Man went from "cheap bullshit magnets, fuck this cheating game" to "ooh, I love really hard games, they get me off".
When you're dropping quarters on location a game that feels like it's cheating you sucks. When you're all about the wave of home ownership with a large collection of games one that's brutal and you can freely keep trying to get a good game on can feel good.
Look at this discussion, Monster Bash was a killer arcade title. Now Munsters rules look like they might be a nice twist on the Monster Bash formula and people are worried it's too shallow. That's the home ownership increase, people expect more for their money now in terms of long term play, as opposed to a reasonable amount of quarters to see the wizard mode before the op swaps it out for a new pin.
You have a solid point, never thought of it that way before but makes a lot of sense.
I put in some hardcore quality time on the pro and premium at Game Exchange. I gotta say I absolutely love the lower Playfield and having separate buttons to operate it is pure brilliance. For me it’s a gotta have, makes the game.
Id compare it more to monster Bash in terms of depth. The first mini wizard mode is somewhat obtainable on a sorta frequent basis, which it fun! The second is much harder to obtain.
Quoted from Guinnesstime:I would say Star Wars but it's so confusing, no one knows if anything's missing.
PS: GOT has its problems too
I agree, the bar near me has a Star Wars, I keep trying to figure it out but jeeze it’s a mess. Doubt anyone knows what’s going on in that game. Munsters is a nice refreshing game. Fun to shoot and understandable.
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Why bother - aren't you that guy that's selling his entire collection?
Nah I guess not. So I need help with titan color!
