Personally, I really like monster themed pins.
I love my MB and TAFG; and feel an Elvira 2 and particularly a Munsters would be right down my alley.
I’ve already reached out to my distributor as well to ensure he is aware of my interest on an LE. Maiden LEs were sold out instantly in Canada (via this distributor) which was quite frustrating.
Let’s hope Stern gets the right mix of deep rules (Lyman would be great), unique design and theme integration for the Munsters pin.
Does anyone have a screen shot or can pm the pics?
Really anticipating this title- just so much potential.
@jeffspinballpalace: those are some awesome images.
Man, this pin has such awesome potential.
Not saying that Munsters is for everyone; but for those who dig this theme, my gut tells me it’s going to be something special and very cool.
MK6PIN, that makes two of us, I’ve also already convinced myself that I want an LE.
Just took delivery of a Deadpool LE (super fun game); and I’ve already made space for a Munsters.
Pinball addiction is real lol...
Agreed, a few pics from the manual would certainly be welcomed here...lots of built up anticipation.
B&W Premium is pretty cool; but my preference for the pf is the color LE.
All models look great IMO and I'm really looking forward to flipping this soon.
Ordered an LE this week and my Distributor (in Toronto) quoted end of Feb. for delivery.
So excited for this title. This is an awesome hobby!
Interesting development about the possible addition of 100 LEs.
Ive also emailed my distributor to confirm if this in fact true.
I’m in for an LE but would like to know if there is an additional outer art choice for the cabinet.
Has anyone heard from their distributor if this is actually the case?
Yeah, I would be a bit upset as well.
Here in Canada, we are shelling out over $13k for an LE.
If they’re going to start releasing more cabinet or art options as part of the LE run, I would think it’s reasonable to be given the option before placing our order.
If the only source for the leak is Kaneda, how actually accurate is he in these pod casts?
Just heard from my distributor in Toronto that apparently Stern is considering increasing the total LE units from 500 to 600.
However, he had not been told of any art cabinet changes in the extra 100.
He’s going to reach out to Stern tomorrow to confirm.
I’m keeping my LE order but am very curious if they’re going to alter anything on these 100 units.
Since Stern increased the numbers produced on the Batman SLE, a seemingly far rarer & more ‘collectible’ example, do most feel it’s a big deal going from 500 to 600 units?
Personally, I’m not overly bothered by those extras, as it does mean 100 more buyers get to own this cool edition.
However, I wonder why Stern would choose to do this on Munsters as opposed to Maiden where there was estimated to be far higher demand?
I suppose all future LEs may be subject to this re-occurring.
In the end, IMO Stern has done a really nice job with all three models and I think everyone will be happy with the one they choose.
Wow, this Munsters hype thread has taken on a decidedly negative tone.
Aside from a select few, it seems there are a lot of naysayers out there.
Bit of a buzz kill lol.
I’m still on my LE I think the gameplay still looks very fun and the theme integration is spot on.
However, I’m ok with code not being Maiden or TWD deep.
Don’t get me wrong as I love those titles but having a varied selection of pins with both simpler and deeper rules in my collection makes it more accessible for all my family.
The other issue I have to address when 'buying without playing' is trying to secure an LE.
Locally, here in Toronto, for the higher demand LEs (ie: Maiden, Munsters, etc), you would typically have to buy prior to playing.
Unfortunately, I can't wait until a Pro arrives and play one, as the LEs will all be spoken for.
The demand for these tends to outstrip the supply and it's a first come first served kind of approach.
Not sure if this is going to change any time soon.
@tranquilize: I think the ball save can be turned in in Settings.
If so, I’m not sure why they don’t activate one out in the wild. Even if it’s a shorter ball save time.
On my Addams, there’s no ball save option at all I believe. Mind you, it’s not an overly challenging pin.
