Color me Impressed! Looks like a Christmas Pin, in 11 months.....
Quoted from SteveMan:I'd take a premium with pro art.
You and me both. The Pro art is my favourite. If I bought one it would be Pro for that reason. I've always been a Pro buyer, but that lower playfield looks cool.
That is a great looking game. I prefer the colored game, but overall it looks like a solid package. Audio might get a bit monotonous in home use (what doesnt?), but if you like the Munsters like I do, that's a home run.
Quoted from ahdelarge:You and me both. The Pro art is my favourite. If I bought one it would be Pro for that reason. I've always been a Pro buyer, but that lower playfield looks cool.
Ditto That !
Game looks cool from what I've seen so far, lower playfield seems packed. However, won't consider purchasing until Ghostbusters code is completed. Not spending thousands more for a new game when the last game I spent thousands on doesn't even have its code completed.
So it looks like another slow rollout of machines. Pros 21st of Jan, LEs first part of Feb, and Premiums don't go until all the way out to March 1st. Ugh.

Really

Lmao this is like the 4th stern pin released in a year?
Yeah, stern is king of the “slow rollout.”
Where’s your head at Vic?!?
Quoted from Rarehero:You see vibrant, I see "busy". Resolution has nothing to do with vibrancy. You can watch beautifully shot B&W movies on a 4KTV. Light, shadow and cinematography can be gorgeous in black and white. Just depends on the artist. Anyway - I think all 3 versions look great. Glad there are options for all tastes.
I would argue that the Black and Chrome (B&W) edition of 'Mad Max: Fury Road' was better than the color theatrical release. You should definitely watch it if you haven't seen it.

Did you like the L.E. brother?
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:Did you like the L.E. brother?
I don't. I liked the mockup leaked version of the LE casket cabinet with the black and white insert way better than the one they ended up at that's overdone given what they were trying to go for with the casket look. The flipper armor doesn't fit the casket theme, and is distracting. Pre-reveal, I thought the Premium was going to have to be a pass, and now I like it the best of the three, so go figure.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Where’s your head at Vic?!?
My head is at a Premium, two months from now.
Quoted from nicknack66:I keep on hearing what sounds like Paul Lynde. Is he one of the voices being used? He appeared in several Munsters episodes.
They're definitely using a Paul Lynde sound-alike, which is absolutely amazing (in a good way).
I never thought I'd see the day we'd get Paul Lynde in a pinball machine. Incredible.

I’m thinking about same train here Vireland.
Watching twitch it looked like it was harder to follow ball and make out playfield artwork on the b&w playfield. Looked easier to follow on the color playfield.
Guess you have to play both machines.
Anyone out at CES share your thoughts on this.
Thx

Noticed Paul Lynde right away and love that choice. Thought I heard a few callouts that reminded me of Cassandra Peterson. She wasn’t a guest on the show so probably not her, but maybe Stern had her in for the Elvira 3 recording session. Anybody else hear her?
Quoted from bellbrand:Really
Heard from my distributor that LE's should ship by the 19th of January.. But previous experience has been that Stern gave very optimistic dates.. So will see..
Kind of surprised no specific topper w this one.....good in my case, as it going to potentially go under my dungeon stairs....
Quoted from Zukram:Heard from my distributor that LE's should ship by the 19th of January.. But previous experience has been that Stern gave very optimistic dates.. So will see..
Mine said February...guess I'll find out when I see the bill....

Dwight listed the name of the voice actor in the deadflip stream but apparently my screenshot didn’t happen and I don’t remember the name. The use of a Lynde voice fits in perfectly with a game themed from a 60s sitcom.
Quoted from MK6PIN:Mine said February...guess I'll find out when I see the bill....
I was told February also, for the LE.
Quoted from jfh:Dwight listed the name of the voice actor in the deadflip stream but apparently my screenshot didn’t happen and I don’t remember the name. The use of a Lynde voice fits in perfectly with a game themed from a 60s sitcom.
I hope they include an easter egg “Paul Lynde” mode, where he does 100% of the call-outs. Instant buy.

Yeah, not the info I got. Your LEs are shipping on a Saturday? Don't think so. Pros start on the 21st, LEs in Feb.
Quoted from frankmac:Did the pro get play in the stream I only watched the first hour?
Pro tomorrow.
Just stunning!

They might as well do Bewitched while they have the voice actor, I remember uncle Arthur more anyhow.
Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:What’s the official word on sales tax for out-of-state purchases as a phone order?
They collect sales tax applicable to your delivery location.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:Premium looks boss. Better than I had hoped for or even imagined. Loving you premium. :hearts:
I really hope this black and white thing goes away and doesn't lead to more companies doing it. It looks terrible imo zapping the pop color and attitude I love about pinball tables. I thought it looked bad on that TZ and even though I think this game overall looks boring, it completely zaps the wonderful color that the game brings to the table. What a terrible idea.
My opinion happy others find it nice and I'm all for having options I just hope this doesn't become more popular.
Quoted from MK6PIN:....LE is gorgeous, and confirmed my order. ... Can't wait to get this thing and play it!!!!! (I do think the B&W looks pretty cool as well, but the "cabinet casket" artwork, custom rails, shaker, and great color do it for me).....Hooray!!!!
LE is gonna look GREAT next to BM66!
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:LE is gonna look GREAT next to BM66!
Both have great themes, and look fantastic.
Quoted from delt31:It looks terrible imo zapping the pop color and attitude I love about pinball tables.
Think about how it will look during gameplay with colors shooting out of the inserts and flashers, colored light playing off of the toys, plastics, etc. It's going to be really beautiful in action.
Was curious about the black and white, but I don't like the looks of it. Perhaps better in person. Hope to see it at a show. But for some reason that black and white combined with Franchi's busy art package just doesn't work. I think he should have gone simpler. For those who like it or love it, I am glad. But, I just think it will look terrible in a line up.
My bet is that they anticipated the B&W vs color debate, and will use the controversy to their advantage. People who really dislike the B&W but want the lower playfield will either spring for the LE or buy the Pro and live without it. Then later, if this game proves pretty popular, they'll release a full color Premium vault edition "due to popular demand". This would satisfy everyone and lead to at least a handful of people buying the game NIB twice, or paying more than they intended to the first time to buy the LE.
I personally think the B&W version looks better than the others. Plus on location I feel like in a row of 16 games your eye would linger on this more than the others and it will probably draw more coin as a result.
But yeah, looks fun. Can't wait to play it.
I like different parts of each. I prefer the premium playfield and cabinet (B/W looks great), the pro translite, and the LE head (I like the door vs character faces). Hmmmm...
Overall the game looks fun. I do think the laughing may grate on my nerves though.
There two quick things I will be changing on my premium. First is to replace all colored flashers/domes with uv flashers/clear domes. Getting rid of unnecessary color and removing a spotlight on the spot lights. I know Stern was color coding it with each character, but it doesn’t work well and is distracting. You can still easily tell which area the flashers are going off without color, and I expect that will make a small but positive difference to me.
Second thing I’ll do is to replace the balls with black pearl balls from BackAlleyMatt. They have same weight and magnetic properties of your everyday pinball. They are darker than black [snap] and may allow some to see the ball better. I use and prefer black pearls in my Centaur.

Rules Explained on Twitch Stream?
I was just wondering if any of the reveal team took some time to introduce viewers to the rules of the game. I remember that in past Deadflip reveals. The three-hour stream is archived on Deadflip and I'm watching it now. No rules- or game-development discussion begins the stream. Does it come up later in the stream? Is the discussion in its own, separate clip? D. Sullivan us renowned for his uber-deep rulesets. Is The Munsters another example?
I'm tired of all of the Monochromophobia in this thread.
The Premium looks spooktacular on all levels!!!
I like the color that the lights and inserts add, but I can't help wondering how it would look if they went warm white LEDs for everything.
I was afraid of the black and white at first... I wanted a color prem... And while a little part of me would prefer color. I think the premium has the best overall art package. Best translite, best cab, and while the pro has the best playfield artwork... Both the LE and Prem have the better playfield and game...
My fear was they would just make the art black and white via a filter in photoshop... Which is not how you want to actually really go about making true black and white images. This looks nicely done.
And when the color lights hit the Lilly slingshot plastic, she looks colored. Nice effect. Nice slingshot... Again my biggest complaint... Not enough Lilly!!!!! Still, a great looking game... And really... Man... This has me wishing I made 3 times the money I do... As this could be my next game... Or it could be my 3rd game... I don't know... I'm going to wait to see how it plays.
I thought deadpool looked great, loved the 2d sprite animations, but the theme is only so so for me, and the Deadpool gameplay just is ho-hum for me at best... Just don't like playing it.
So if this game plays good... Man... What a theme. Huge fan of the Munsters, and just classic monsters as well... Think about it... Munsters would look great next to a Monster Bash, an Adams Family, A creature, and maybe a phantom of hte opera, or BSD... And I almost forgot the Hostest with the mostest Elivra and the Party Monsters, and Scared Stiff. Someday I will have the collection I just posted above... Someday!!!!!
Quoted from Sinestro:Just stunning!
[quoted image]
Agreed. At this time last night I would have bet a firm kick to the nuts that I wouldn't like the black and white anywhere near this much. The more I see it, the more I like it. As far as the overall art package, I like Premium the most by far, then Pro and then LE at the bottom.
Quoted from Slips:Has there ever been an sort of loop shot before like the right ramp?
Not quite the same but WPT left ramp and POTC Monkey ramp. This one is really cool in the way it is pulled off.
