I don’t understand why they are doing a live Twitch reveal in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. I enjoy watching pinball on Twitch, but like the vast majority of people I will be at work at that time.
Regardless, excited to see the VOD after.
Quoted from mnpinball:All 3 versions on display Tuesday.
Borg knocked this design out of the stratosphere! When’s the last time a lower pf had a ramp and a wireform ?
After the Gary Stern webinar today at 1:30 there’s stuff floating around because every single dealer had access to the information but I’m not going to be “that guy” and share dumb down pixelated pics or whatever. I’m gonna let Stern do the proper reveal the way it’s meant to be. Respect to John Borg, Christopher Franchi, Dwight and the whole team that worked on this fantastic game.
You guys can wait another half a day with Stern to do it right and Jack Danger have the Twitch feed reveal. It’s worth the wait.
Quoted from musketd:BORGY THE —ing FLOW GRANDMASTER PINBALL WIZARD is about to kill it
I see the hype conductors are in full force doing their thang as usual.

It's Prime Time here.
Happy that I don't have to be up till 3 AM this time.
Hey, this is the result of being dropped on my head when I was little, too much hype train hooplah, too much alcohol, and too much waiting on a MBrLE pin to ship... I will go dormant after it arrives, I promise. Unless I’m waiting on a Munsters LE by then...
Quoted from benheck:The more people complain about a black and white version the more I hope Stern makes one
People on here have no vision. It could look AMAZING and would stand out in any arcade or basement.
Even though I think the B&W should be the LE and not the Premium, it could look really cool. I think people forget that the GI & inserts will introduce tons of color into the gameplay. We'll just have to see how it looks in action to truly judge what a B&W modern pin might look like.

yea...or stand out like a bent weiner….

Well there goes any chance of getting anything productive done tomorrow at work.
Quoted from PinsOnly:Hmmmm, Black and White carpet underneath it.
Nice catch. I think the premium is barely in the frame also.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:My brother will be there at CES tomorrow and Wednesday, I look forward to hearing his thoughts, and some pics/vids!
I’ll be there Thursday and Friday.

Yup. You can see the topper.

But we have already seen black and white on TZ and others.
We already know what that looks like.
Some might like it but I'd have zero interest.
How the F could that look "amazing"?
Nope.
That looks like a pic hurriedly taken during set up or “ backstage” by a non pinhead worker; otherwise I think a partial pic of the play field would have been included.
Quoted from Mudflaps:Yeah but what's in the grocery cart?
That was the black and white cabinet that Todd Tuckey dropped off the roof...
One of the most striking features of Centaur was the black and white artwork against the color-coded inserts, and to my knowledge, it hasn’t been done since.
Complete black and white artwork against rgb lights could look pretty sharp. Nothing else would look quite like it in the sea of a ton of new pinball machines.
I could dig it.
I'm excited for the reveal. I think it's a single Flipper Fidelity speaker, an old blanket and a dead snake.
The cart is full of gaffer tape, drop cloths, and booth setup junk...nothing to see here... unless that is what they used to wrap up the dead bodies of Pinsiders trying to get a picture of the playfield...
Quoted from PinsOnly:Hmmmm, Looks like only one black flipper button
Makes sense as it appears to be the pro model.
Quoted from mbaumle:One of the most striking features of Centaur was the black and white artwork
Centaur is monochrome. "Black and white" includes every shade of gray in between black and white. This is a big part of the reason that Centaur looks cool and the preliminary Munsters playfield in black and white looks like ass. Hopefully they can do a good monochrome look that is not just a color playfield with all the color removed.
Why is black and white bad? The show wa in B/w and it looks good on the game but it’s more gray scale
B/W could be bad in that it looks totally grey/washed out. There is reason people flocked to color TVs in the late 60s. I too love Centaur with its splashes of vibrant red and blue inserts, but I sense/fear that Stern will just decolorize the LE artwork. I would hope that the toys and plastics would still be in color. That could be cool with the contrast between playfield and playfield parts.
Quoted from benheck:I hope it's TOTALLY black and white.
Like, even the lighting.
You buying one Ben ?

They should stream the reveal in black and white.
Quoted from northvibe:Man, maybe we just need a all white or all black game :-p
OK...done:

Just easing the tension

Jack Danger should troll us all and do the first half of his Twitch stream in B&W so nobody can tell what’s going on.
Quoted from MustangPaul:How do you guys think that new sales tax is going to effect the sale of this game?
Not much. This site is mostly “rich” guys that spend too much money on frivolous purchases like pinball, boats, guns, cars etc. A few recent poles showed these demographics. I don’t think a few hundred extra is much of a deterrent
Quoted from TKDalumni:Can you put this in layman’s terms for us non artist types.
Vector art has clean lines and is essentially a chain of shapes filled with a solid color. Process art is an image made of dots separated out into C,M,Y,K (Basically Blue, Red, Yellow, Black) and those layers of dots make the colors and shapes. If they made vector art, then the lines will be clean and bold and it could look pretty boss. However, if they just drained the color from a CMYK color process art, it will look muddy and indistinct compared to how art specifically made for vector would look.
