Munsters Pro arriving to home in 10 minutes!
Can't wait.its like waiting for a fix...
Ever 2 minutes I'm looking out the window.

We want an update tonight!

Only put on 1 game.
Had to clean mess up and get ready for tomorrow.

I'll give a short review.
Side art and front of machine are quite stunning.
The lighting is very nice however machine lacks of something in dead center.
I'm thinking I'll have to get a couple lights to light it up as it's a little bit dark.

Sound is actually very good and the light show is quite nice as well.
I cannot tell you anything other than I only played one game and watch my son play 2.

He is twelve-year-old and thought it was really fun.

I have 10 pin balls in my collection.

More details tomorrow
After I Wax the playfield and add a couple Mods

Did you see their chipped playfields and worn scoop areas awhile back? Thats quality!

lol serious? Who-Dey
What chipped playfields same as sterns, sterns ghosting playfields, Spike system, Node boards, wrinkling decals over 2 titles, cheap locking bars, cheap playfield under support pins )replaced from the great standard sliding brackets.
point being

JJP is way better built in more ways than one Imo.

Nice, looking forward to your review after 10 games.

LE's not arriving here until early March.
Tick tock tick tock.

Quoted from J85M:

Curious what people think, do you guys prefer the new signed plastics/cards or did you like it more when LEs where signed directly on the playfield?
No right or wrong just curious what was preferred!? Munsters playfield would have been perfect for signing with Dwight and Borg in the artwork.

I watched that quick stream myself with Borg signing the plastics with a black texta?
Surly cannot be in texta, or are they going to be clear coated?
or was it a paint pen?

Hate to see it only in Texta and you accidentally wipe the signature away while polishing the machine

I much Prefer the way it was signed on the playfield!
Wasn't that the reason why the LE's looked to have had more clear on the playfields due to clearing the signature?

Looked like he used a Sharpie to me. Seemed to be doing it with care.

So can this be cleaned without removing the signature?

I remember maybe 4 years ago, I got Steve Richie to sign Getaway speaker cutouts, and when I removed the plastic film protector off, so went approx 60% of the signature

Quoted from Squizz:

So can this be cleaned without removing the signature?

Unless it’s permanent marker I wouldn’t and even then I don’t think I’d risk it!

Only reason I asked the question was I kinda liked the signed playfields and after looking at the playfield art I thought Munsters was perfect for signing directly on to the playfield because Borg and Dwight are both in the art as postmen in the outlane areas, would have been pretty cool.

I think the reason Stern changed the signature to cards is because of all the issues with trying to sign a playfield. I can just imagine the number of playfields that Stern has had to replace because of a signature being off. I know when I purchased my Transformers LE it came with an extra playfield because Gomez signature was located under apron and you could not even see it. Or if it smudged, etc people would demand a new playfield. Smart move by Stern

This also made me realize, the one thing really missing on the Pro that they should have done...
3 magnets in the center of the pf, ala the power.
Really could have been a great feature and that are of the pf is completely empty.

Likely done since that's the lower PF area on the Prem. I think the same upper mechanics on both the Pro and Prem upper PF, right?

Funny. It surpasses the old shitty lockdown that Stern was using in that it holds the front molding in place more firmly. Still annoying to use though, so I don't really consider it a step forward in that regard. However, compared the other mechanisms (i.e. Bally/Williams) it's still garbage.

Pro tip, if you have the older stern lockdown and your front molding is loose, you can add a felt strip on top of the wood in front of the lockdown to help snug it up a bit.

Looks great, no matter what anyone says it’s one good looking pin! it’s a shame that 1313 shooter decoration wasn’t a little more creative and used the actual shooter rod as the door knocker, that would have been sweet!

#6926 1 year ago

Got to put about 12 games on it over lunch today. Got all the way to Munster Madness with one extra ball. Lots of glare on the game I was playing. Game plays really fast I could see some broken plastics!

I know that the lack of space goes into the design but it would be also nice to have the numbers be together and not interrupted.

The backglass can be turned down during gameplay to eliminate the glare.

The old lady and i spent few hours on Munsters pro today...... very fun with great light shows , shots , ramps, callouts, animations, super fast and flowing with tight shots.(especially the left ramp) The one we played had no ball save and wasn't even the newest code. Great fun and didn't mind the code overall and will be great in our collection. The game was very unforgiving and if you missed a shot than it most likely drained out the outtlanes. We thought it was like met but more difficult . Also lots of strategies for scoring and many ways to get your name in at the end. Not sure if one we played was changed from factory settings but it kicked out butts for the most part. Loved it and can't wait to get ours next week hopefully.

Dead Flip is doing a Munsters launch party right now on twitch!

#6932 1 year ago

What happened to the hypeman saying Munsters was the most loaded Stern since TSPP?

#6933 1 year ago

Just played around 20 games on mine and was one shot away from 2nd munster madness ):

Plays crazy fast after the waxing!

Over all a real blast to play.
My 12 year old kept getting upset because he would lose his ball quickly(do to how fast it plays).
Great callouts Wonderful sound
This will stay in the collection for quite some time.

Go to run now must Rum and Munster it up!!!

Fun Fun Fun Fun

Will ship April, that’s why it’s taken so long to show, so delivery and reveal are close together. Show at TPF and it’s Pat’s new table. A regular body. Looking forward to it!

Nope, TS is Eric’s. They see saw each other. DI Pat’s, POTC Eric, then Pat again with WW, then close year out with Eric TS. If all goes well on production line. Think they’ve finally got it figured out after 8-9 years at it.

Come on Sky, the ultimate JJP fanboy? It's Wonka and Pat. Then GNR and next year Toy Story

This could be HUGE year for JJP if they nail Wonka.
