Quoted from JodyG:

Nah, they can just add another hundred.

If they ad another I’m out !
Not a problem if you say from day one !
We’re making a 1000 !
I hate people who tell you one thing
And do another !

Didn’t Tony Montana say I have my word and my Balls ! I don’t break either one

I don’t know about a ton of LE,S left ?
I doubt that

#5805 5 years ago
Quoted from pinmister:

I bought the Pro for the flow
I bought the Premium because I am too cool for just a Pro
I bought the LE because I wear shirts with 9 popped collars
[quoted image]

The 9 popped collar ships with the LE.

#5806 5 years ago

Seems like some distributors were sold out days ago-now have stock again. Probably lots of people bailing for Premium and maybe because of game reviews coming in? I think it is good for people that really want one and were unable to find one.

#5807 5 years ago

Yeah, doesn't hurt to post if you know of any.

I agree 100% with you, but Stern just applied another quote from Tony... “I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.”

#5809 5 years ago

AC/DC Luci was the last Stern I bought
Until the Munsters which I only have a deposit on. I don’t mind vault editions
Being made , Honestly I think they should make mirror Backglass’s, side art, rails etc available over the counter so guys can mod there games out with there games ? Just a thought and it doesn’t have to be the LE version
Mirror glass should be in every game !

Not sure why anyone would call the well done BM66 turntable anything but one of Sterns best Mechs. The crane works well with the TV series for sure. Layout is great fun and shoots well, if you adjust the left orbit bumper. Where else do you get such innovative game play and code from Stern, except BM66? If one can’t understand that, they’ve probably not had much time on the table. I’ve owned one for more than half a year and have lots of time on the table, so I get what Stern was trying to achieve. It’s great fun for the family!

Technologically it's cool, but it slows gameplay, sometimes a LOT while you wait for what you want to rotate into the front position. The adjustments helped, but not enough to really overcome the impediment to play.

Nope! You turn “turntable lag” down from 1200 to 200 and that thing spins like a mother!

I never went that low because I wasn't sure what the long-term mechanical consequences would be. If 200 is the preferred speed, that should be the factory default. Since it's WAY higher than that, it makes me wonder why. I never put it below 500.

I put it at 300 and like it, but will give 200 a shot!

Doesn’t make a huge difference ... 300 would be fine.

I don’t know why it defaults at 1200.

Quoted from slavin20:

There are a ton of LEs out there. The Pinball company and Colorado game exchange are just 2 that still have them

So there are 100 or so left? Those are from Stern’s LTPM series run. No need to scalp on pricing when you have a License To Print Money. When LE’s are not sold out after a few weeks, the number of LE’s is too high imo and 500 should have been the upper limit on Munsters with 400 being a better amount. Better for collectors and the hobby to leave demand greater than supply. That allows an escape valve for anyone wanting to sell their game an an incentive to buy LE for those on the fence between premium and LE. The remaining LE’s will sell out in next few months but that will only benefit Stern and their Distributors, not the end buyer.

I would rather see 600 and everyone who wants an LE get one than the scalpers selling 20 of them for dumb prices. Thats why Kaneda was upset. With 600 he could no longer flip the LE for bucks.

Yeah I agree if it was my Banker or my Doctor, my Escort, my Lawyer or maybe my dealer but a Pinball Company? who gives a shit. If thats the reason to get out of buying an LE it wasn't in the cards anyhow.

Quoted from jawjaw:

So would you rather have WPT or Munsters? I have not played either but Munsters looks more fun to me. It would be nice to have loaded features like a TZ with great theme, art, and code for $3500 but that's not a reality for today. Even JJP had to cut features in POTC by going to simple spinning disk and that is $9500! I don't get how prices have shot up so much in the last 5 years or so but they have. Stern still has the cheapest nib even though it is pushing $6000.

WPT by a mile.

Quoted from Fytr:

This Munsters thread has convinced me to buy a Shadow! Good work everyone!

Its a significantly better game in my view.

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Would one trade a Shadow for a Munsters?

No chance!

Quoted from flynnibus:

why is everyone so fixated on starting the level 1 mayhem?
You should be talking about who is managing to stack their supers WITH the multiplier up, then starting the payoff mode.
The game has a playfield multiplier that you can reset the timer on! The juice is in the delayed jackpots, multipliers, and then collecting your mini-wiz mode.
It's like BSD or ACDC... the thrill isn't in simply starting the objective.. it's getting the objective with the right things together.

Even with that, its simple, you can get the jackpots all setup, with the multipliers and get the wizard mode really easily.

Quoted from bigd1979:

That's what I've been saying but everyone is fixated on munster madness .... the game has lots of strategies other than get threw 5 sections.

Can you share what they are? Because in playing it for 6 hours straight I couldn't find any other strategy... there is nothing to hit in this game.

100% agree. There’s a lot of detail on that cab art that won’t be obvious until you see it in person.

Sooo.. to early to talk about TOPPER possibilities!??

What do people want to see?

#5828 5 years ago

I would like to see maybe Egor flapping wings when spinner is hit, or raven coming out of his clock..

Quoted from Pinhead1982:

The Munsters Mansion in B&W for Premium and Color for LE’s with lightning in the back... like a thunderstorm perhaps.

I don't think we'll start seeing domestic pros unboxing until next week. Europe has unboxed some, though.

I’ve been told to look at the end of February for the LE
Long time, crazy

As far as toppers the clock with Raven I can’t beat that would be sick!!!

A dragula with light up exhaust pipes that burns out and raises it's front wheels off the ground.

The route I'm helping with is getting a Pro then a Premium and the Pro will be sold once the Premium arrives in March, so I get to play both extensively.

There's been a Pro on site in a craft bar in the UK since last Friday.

I spent all Saturday in there, but only put half a dozen games on Munsters as I found it so boring, the rest of the time was spent on The Beatles - a far superior game, and it wasn't just me. People were queuing for TB, rather than play Munsters, it was the least played game on the ground floor. Other games on the ground floor included IMdn, PotC JJ, DP, SW, GotG, DI, BM66.

For the Munsters Pro, Premium, or LE. Save the art, Not the dimples!!
Improve the look of this Beautiful playfield and add some protection to both the playfield and that dimpling magnet plate! The Munsters Electric Mag Protector is a laminated decal cover along with a secondary custom oversized mylar protector. Both have clean cut center access to eliminate mylar shredding and faulty ball grabs. (Hmmm) I think it gives the playfield a great theme look while protecting those ugly metal disk dimples and the top cover protects both while extending Over the magnet perimeter to protect the playfield to metal roll over. It really looks great, rather easy to install, and the price is very reasonable. This product qualities for free shipping ground! Color OR Black and white versions also available. Available now from our website store! Thank you All for your support!

Man what a bloody great shame it is that I keep hearing this as people play the machine- I was 100 thousand % in when I saw this released - but such a large % of players are reporting this back after they play it . Not being a negative nancy here, just sayin that 12k ( here in AUS ) is bigtime coin to throw at a Premium machine so you would expect great gameplay with such a FANTASTIC theme. I am now SUPER CAUTIOUS and hesitating and waiting until I see / play it , but nervous that it will be as reported.........time will tell I guess. I am so hoping that this current feedback is being vastly exaggerated at this point.
