I cant recall this being used anywhere else? Is it the first time the pinball ramps have done this?

To my knowledge, you'll find this style of ramp in Tales From The Crypt and Stern's Pirates of the Caribbean (the Jack The Monkey ramp). Maybe other people know of more examples?
There's one on Wheel of Fortune, but it's not as dramatic. The implementation on Munsters is excellent, probably the best of any of the games already mentioned.

No...those are not the same style at all. Unless I'm missing something.
I am pretty sure Borg was the first (and only?) to use this style with TFTC. The others mentioned (POTC, WoF) are almost more of a reverse scoop, but if we are counting them as the same, Jurassic Park uses two of them. WoF's is really cool with the inline drop targets leading up to it. That's such an amazing layout...I wish it would be rethemed to something a bit more exciting (sorry...way off topic).
I can't think of any others similar to Munsters besides TFTC.
Strange Science, the "anti gravity" ramp.
Jeez is that game a piece of shit. Seems to be a common thread for games with this feature.

LOL
Waterworld has several of them... one at ball launch, one at the Deez/Atoll and one at the Harpoon ... Rescue 911 has one right off the plunger... it is how the ball enters the playfield...
Quoted from Puffdanny:Pharaoh has one for entry from the plunge
I think all the williams bi-levels use the same little loop. Jungle Lord/Solar fire, etc
