Has anyone made any custom cards?
Quoted from Magicchiz:Where are all the custom designs
Ready to order ! B/W version would look cool ? Glossy finish
Maybe LE version ?
So far ......... a little work on a game info card.....
I posterised the image to make it just a "little" cartoony, moved Lily's head up and you can see the rest.
Unsure about green border- can remove easily or save card as border version and also borderless.
I can make text bigger, change text colour and its surrounds, move stuff around etc but I really wanted to keep things "off the car" if that makes sense.
thoughts..... feedback please.
Quoted from Magicchiz:Ok when done with premium, how about the LE using the pro back glass, etc.
Magicchiz
I will get to those - I am still considering a PREM so thought I would do these, help community and then do LE's after
If anyone wants to point me to or send me a nice image of the PRO BG that would be helpful
Quoted from Wotto:Thoughts on adding colour in some places .....
Car lights, front and side.
Hermans head.
Things like that.

Looks great. Would love to see this one in full color too.

Gotta look at that.
Green lettering blends in too much in my opinion....
Quoted from 2manypins:Great work from both pinsiders so far. Thanks
Since I am a newb.... what are these used for...?

They replace these awful yellow things that come with games
20190308_080320 (resized).jpgTrying this for inst cards - VERY hard to get this font/ a text that will highlight easily on top of the image - and also very difficult to fit mos the other rules in ( Raven, Eddie, Kitty etc. Im already abbreviating a fair bit just to fit these words - would people be happy with this basic info?
If I go any smaller on this text you wont be ale to read it.
I can either fit Eddie , Kitty or Raven rules on OR Munster Madness summary - but not all of them.
Speak ......

Forget free play or insert coin etc
Your close, nice work
Quoted from whitey:Those look great !
When can I order a set !
Yellow is hideous
I need a few weeks , these are quick roughs and I don't get a load of spare time. No need to "order" as I will just upload all versions once done
These are looking great. Anyone found the best way to print them. I dont have a great printer just an inkjet. Could try sending to Walgreens etc but they dont print the exact size which is 5.375 x 3??
Love them Wotto. I'll definitely put those in my pin, but would be more than happy to pay you for your work. Nice Job!

Don't print them just yet, they are a fair way from doneI actually have to resize so the ratio is same as yellow cards...
The images from the net, whilst large , are only 72dpi resolution. If anyone can point me to (or take ) nice higher res images of those BGs it would be helpful.
OK I'm done for now ( too much time - should be playing pins - or drums !! )
I have uploaded what I completed today and may not revisit / change from this too much.
I have uploaded in original size/resolution settings.
I have not printed these myself , so unsure how they will print.
They are created at the same ratio as the yellow cards, but you will have to sort your own printing to size best on your printer as all printers differ ( I think Stern yellows are about 140mm x 75mm ) Anyway if someone wants to give em a crack , do a test print etc and see , report back that would be great.
I put black around them and then a thin white border as I really couldn't get into the colored borders I was trying.
I did my best to summarize the basics as far as rules go
Let me know how it works out I don't have a printer last time I did cards I pitched in and purchased from other Pinside members. Hopefully I can do my unboxing today new to my area and no pin buddies yet
Quoted from Wotto:Be nice if people mentioned the maker before announcing " here is a.set I made" wouldnt it

Wait... did you create these? I probably missed that. I’m not in Oz, so no diff to me, but I also have some of the artwork files from Franchi and was considering putting my own lettering on them (but i never seem to find the time and when i do, I just want to play). I certainly won’t be selling them even if I did make up my own, because wouldn’t Stern or Franchi be a bit upset about me profiting from their work? I guess I’m just confused by what you’re trying to say.
Edit: DOH! I guess all i had to do was scroll up to post #35 to see your handiwork. Sorry i missed that. Your effort looks very nice!! Maybe my point about Stern and Franchi are still valid... not sure who it’s directed at though. Maybe the guy selling reprints of the work you took from someone else and modified?
