I keep seeing a few mentions of Flipper codes for munsters. Does anyone know more about these and can shed some light on how this works and what they are.

The two Munsters flipper codes I know of are the same ones in Star Wars...

* Dead Flip
Attract Mode flipper button code: DEA (B-4L-R-5L-R-L-2R)

* Traditional first C/C++ program
Attract Mode flipper button code: CCC (B-3L-R-3L-R-3L-2R)

The V0.91 README says there's in-game code(s) that lead to "Secret Mania." Don't know anything about those yet.

Can you explain this easier? What's B 4L ? Etc etc

B=Both at same time
L=Left Flipper
R=Right Flipper

#=number of presses (Just a letter then press once)

Can you please retype the code in single lines. I really cant understand how it's set out?
B-4L-R-5L-R-L-2R
It's very confusing ! So is it both 4 x left and right , then 5 x left and right then left x 2 ???

Both flippers start every code. Then you hit the left flipper to put in your first letter (where it’s at in the alphabet. A=1,B=2, and so on). Then when you reach the letter you want, press right flipper to confirm that letter. Then put in your next letter with the left button, confirm with right.

Once you’ve put in your third letter, press the right flipper twice to end the code.

This is the process for every flipper code.

At the TPF seminar they gave away the code for this pic. I did it right after for the pic but now I’m not certain: it was CF4 I believe as in Chris Franchi’s 4th game, but it could just as easily be CF3 or CF5! Same procedure as Chuck noted above.

Could you please unjumble these as they are all together and I cannot make any sense of it ? B-4L-R-5L-R-L-2R . As they all run in together I just dont understand how it works

i found this codes for the Munster Pinball, some are double finds posted by other users
I will post them in this way, like it was descripted in the Code update readme file:
- Added Team Credits ESaster egg: 1 2 3. To see it you Hold in Both flippers,
then you enter numbers with the left flipper and enter on with the right.
Finally, when you are done you have to enter one last time with the right
flipper. So 1 2 3 would be B LR LLR LLLR R

1 2 3 = Credits
4 5 1 = Dead Flip
3 3 3 = Hello World
3 6 5 = Chris Franchi
4 4 6 = Pinball Team
7 1 4 = XAQ i missed you
8 4 7 = Serial Number?

i am searching any information about the secret mania mode, this way i stumbled upon the codes.

Is there a sequence of pressing the left and right flipper buttons to make the code not suck?

As my Calc II teacher always said, it's obvious to the most casual observer.

Try this way, just remember the number is for how many Ls:

123 means Both, L, R, LL, R, LLL, RR
451 means Both, LLLL, R, LLLLL, R, L, RR

All that changes is the number of Ls.

Yes the last reply i think explains it quite good:
B=Both Flippers
L=Left Flipper
R=Righ Flipper.
Sequence starts always with one time Both Flippers.
Then the Number how often to press the Left flipper, 2 would be press two times Left Flipper.
The 1. Sequence of Lefts will be ended with a Right Flipper.
Then the 2nd Sequence of Lefts start, ended again with a right flipper.
3rd sequence with lefts, ended this time with 2 right flippers.

1 2 3 = B LR LLR LLLRR = Credits
4 5 1 = B LLLLR LLLLLR LRR = Dead Flip
3 3 3 = B LLLR LLLR LLLRR = Hello World
3 6 5 = B LLLR LLLLLLR LLLLLRR = Chris Franchi
4 4 6 = B LLLLR LLLLR LLLLLLRR = Pinball Team
7 1 4 = B LLLLLLLR LR LLLLRR = XAQ i missed you
8 4 7 = B LLLLLLLLR LLLLR LLLLLLLRR = Serial Number?

I hope this helps have fun with the codes.
and sorry i am not good in explaining, but if you know the procedure it should be quite easy.

The 847 or "HDG" flipper code indeed shows the game's S/N and line freq. configuration (50 or 60Hz).

(It turns out many other Stern pins have that 847 code. I just tried it on AC/DC, AS, DP, GotG, SW and TWD - it worked on all those games as well as Munsters.)

#20 1 year ago

would be a coincidence. ERW would translate to 5 18 23 so the sequence would be:
B 5xL R 18XL R 23xL RR
in words, Both Flippers, 5 Times left flipper, 1 time right Flipper, 18 Times Left Flipper, 1 Time Right Flipper, 23 Times Left Flipper, 2 Times right flipper.

You can try yourself
When i play the next time i will try too

maybe it's the secret code for secret mania, who knows

#21 1 year ago

I don’t have the game. Just curious if any codes are left over from GOT.

#22 1 year ago

ERW does nothing on the munster

Bummer! Haha. Figured as much. Just curious.

Hello Chuck, i think i have to correct me.
I am not sure how it works, i used pinball browser to see a little in the code, there is section for you:

HIYA CHUCK
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

When the SD-Card Code is opened in Pinball Browser there is a section for messages, there this text can be seen.

there seems to be an easter egg, but i am not sure how it is started, maybe when the initials are put in. I tried your initals as flipper code, but it did not work.

Had you an ester egg with erw on an other machine? do you know how it did work there?

I only got mine for GOT. Looks like the message just got left over into Munsters code too.

Hey there! Got a moment?
