Quoted from Rdoyle1978:Haven't gotten the final invoice yet; hoping later today.
You got an invoice number when you put the deposit back in March. That seems to be the production order. JTgribble is 1322 and he was just notified the other day. I’m 1334.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:After Spooky blew their lead on a mediocre design I think Multiorphic is in the lead on customer sentiment.
Weird Al movie is great.
Build quality on my Halloween was so bad, I’ll never buy another spooky.
Cointaker is a fine company, I wouldn’t have any worries. That being said, I have had issues with them being disorganized with orders in the past.
Quoted from MrMikeman:I’m 30 behind you (invoice 1360). Siiiigh. Still some time to go. No Merry Christmas for me but likely a Happy Birthday(early March).
I’m 4 away at 1334.
Fingers crossed for Christmas.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:We are getting to the day 1 second 1 timed order direct from multimorphic orders. I'm in that boat and I'm #1340. No call for payment yet, but if they are on 1325 they are getting close! Hoping for January or February.
1334 and the wait is killing me. At least I’m not 1340…
I set up my Weird Al this weekend. Game is heavy! I used to have a Gottlieb Caveman and on paper Weird Al is lighter, but I don’t believe it.
All the balls were rusty, so I had to throw them in the trash. Make sure you have 9 spare balls around. I received 2 Weird Al Speaker panels and no normal speaker panel (is this the standard?) also, I think the LE was advertised as coming with a signed translite, I’m not sure if those are on back order.
Servo motor for wall 5 failed after about a half a day of play. Anyone have long term reliability issues on those servos?
Otherwise, I’m impressed with the build quality and engineering in the game. I’m looking forward to ownership as more games emerge on the platform.
Quoted from Jediturtle:AHA! I thought so! Thank you for confirming...I appreciate it. Mine shipped incorrectly then, so if anyone else is struggling with their spiral shot, take a look at that transition. It makes a world of difference.
Thanks again, and have a great new year!
I just checked and mine is upside down as well
Quoted from Jediturtle:I am curious about the upper flipper ball traps. Do they serve any purpose, or is there a plan for this in the future? My understanding is there is a mode featuring this shot in Heist, and the flipper goes up and lets the ball out once made(?). As far as I can tell here it is just a ball trap. Right now it is a little frustrating when you can’t find the ball only to eventually notice that it is under an upper flipper. Since the game knows the ball is there, is there any reason to not automatically let it out? This is especially a challenge during a multiball and would not be a good thing in competition as you would be taking advantage of a stuck ball (knowingly or not).
My suggestion would be make it a feature. Make it something like a 10 second 2x in multiball before automatically raising the flipper to let it out. Maybe just trigger a callout in single ball play before letting it out (hey…get out of there…employees only!).
Since the physical design allows for this ball trap, it seems to me each module that utilizes the upper flippers should have some sort of way to deal with it built in. Of course, that’s just my two cents!
I like the idea of being able to save a ball for later in the ball trap during multiball. I consider it a gameplay feature.
Quoted from Flippersaurus:The topper is too tall for my basement. It’s between two floor joists. I can’t push it back as far as my other games in the line or it will hit. I need to come up with something to prevent it from moving too far back when nudging. Maybe something that uses the rear leg bolts or something at floor height.

Notch and brace your floor joist.
